Rhyah: My NIN bears the LGA name of my place of birth while my previous passport bears the city name...same place, different names...
Does this matter so much?
On starting the renewal process, the page says my passport will bear the same info as in my NIN. Doesn't matter. Your name and date of birth is all that's compulsory. Your passport will retain its usual city name. |

eniola1010: Please guys. Apart from bcs what other certificate can someone do that is very easy that one can use to claim two degrees or more. That bcs is a bit too technical. ACCA RQF LEVEL 4. Faster than BCS. Exam is on-demand, that is; can be taken at anytime you're ready. You can walk in today and be done with it but BCS, you will have to wait for exam time. |

okdeb: Hello all..
I need your advice. I made a CLB10 in CELPIP G with breakdown as follows
L 9 R 10 W 11 S 8
I wish to max out the points under the language and skills transferability but going through the process of writing the exam again is stressful and financially demanding. I am thinking of requesting a re-evaluation for my speaking score but I’m scared. Is there the possibility of my scores being reduced or staying same upon remark? Also, what is the likelihood of my speaking scores getting to a 9? Apply for re-evaluation. It's a head or a tail. |

Padraic: Hi everyone,
I’m looking for some advice or insight from people familiar with Express Entry or who may have been in a similar situation.
About 5 years ago, I created an Express Entry profile but never received an ITA, and the profile eventually expired. I no longer have access to that old profile and don’t remember all the details I entered.
Now I’m creating a new profile, and I’ve realized that one of the work experiences I included back then (from 2018) is different from what I’m including now. In my current profile, I’ve listed a role as a Technical Support Analyst, based on my actual records and documents. However, I honestly cannot remember what I had entered for that same period in the old profile. The period in question was quite busy for me. I was fresh graduate and I was doing many things at the same time. I was working full time at a clinic as a tech support analyst, I was also working full time, for a hotel, mostly on sleep-in night shifts (10pm -5am) where I only work if needed (and I am very rarely needed). Both jobs are very different and with different SOC codes. I have never applied for any Canadian visa before.
All my other work history is consistent , it’s just this one job in 2018 that’s different.
My questions are:
Has anyone been in a similar situation where their old Express Entry profile had different information?
Does IRCC actually compare expired profiles with new ones?
Should I be concerned about misrepresentation in this case, even if my current profile is accurate and truthful?
Would it be better to include this job or leave it out, even though it is essential for CRS points?
Any advice or experiences would be really appreciated. Thanks! Include both job in your application since you have the option of just leaving them in your personal history. You don't have a concern if you're not claiming point for them. Just declare and move on. |

Adeforever: Hello house. Can one do PTE-core instead of IELTS? Has anyone one here written it and how was it? I notice people only talk about IELTS and CELPIP. Yes, you can do PTE Core. It's same as other type of English language proficiency test, just that the nature of the test question is different. You have fewer writing and talking to do too. In summary, it's quite straightforward. If you know English language rules very well it's easier than the others. For study material and guide, you can reach out below or send mail 👇 |

LoveIsKind: Please quick question. If one also decides to go this French Language Category route, I believe one has to write something called TEF or so. Does this TEF exam result expire? TEF results are valid for two years. |

Singingbae: Good day house, I am presently learning French so as to be in the French category but what I actually want to know is, in the meantime while I’m learning French, I want to do CELPIP/IELTS and just be in the pool since my profile expired.
I want to ask what are my chances of EE going through past round of invitations, I see that the categories are majorly PNP, CEC and French. Can I just go ahead and do the exam and just get in the pool while I’m still learning French which will take some time?
I also plan on doing PMP certification exam which is I want to schedule around May, what will be my chances of using this project management certification likewise? Thanks English test is a must, you can go ahead to take it and join the pool while you continue with your French. It's profitable being in the pool, who knows you might be lucky with a PNP. |

Has anyone recently use NYSC as 1 year foreign experience?
If yes, how do you prove the 1 month salary that was paid in the camp? This has been used successfully. Indicate one month was paid in cash in your ref letter. Read back on this thread, you will see several posts from people that have used it. |
