Foreign Affairs › Protesters Damage Limo, Suvs On K Street (LIVE) by onurky(op): 9:53pm On Jan 20, 2017 |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DcoaIxqA16s Protesters burned an effigy of new US President Donald Trump during a demonstration which brought the centre of Bristol to a standstill this evening. The protesters then turned their attention to race relations in the city, marching to Bridewell police station in response to an incident where a black man was hit in the face with a bolt from a Taser stun gun by officers last weekend. Traffic was briefly halted on St Augustine's Parade, Colston Avenue, Nelson Street, The Haymarket and Rupert Street as the demonstrators, who numbered up to 200 at the peak of the protest, marched between the Fountains and the police station.
