Past Gov. Wike deliberately committed irredeemable damage to the entire civil service of Rivers state. It seems, teachers might be the worst hit at the end of the day. I can't stress this point enough. Wike was extraordinarily wicked to us. The consequences of the wickedness is coming to fore now. For a whole 8 years RSSSSB has only 1 substantive board. As the board was dissolved till date, it has been one acting board chairman from the order without a fully constituted board. Where in the world do you love education and run the all important sector in ad hoc way and manner? We have a long way to go. PDP members here, how market na?* |
Cancellation of IAUE 9 months old employment lays credence to the cry out by some of us that "good governance" has left Rivers state since 29/05/2015. There are few questions begging for answers although nobody will answer them at least for now. 1. Who supervised the hoax employment? 2. Is it not the same administration SIM was integral part of that conducted the sham employment? 3. The same people that conducted the sham employment are they not the same state excos reappointed by Gov. SIM? 4. Why did it 9 months before the same government realize that the employment was riddled in corruption? 5. What is stopping SIM from sanctioning those was supervised and carried out this sham called employment? 6. In all honesty, can this hoax employment take place during the tenure of Rotimi Amaechi? Conclusively, PDP "alleluya" boys and girls will be OK by this level of wickedness a government is showing on her citizens it has the onerous responsibility to cater for. Good governance goes beyond construction of 195 billion naira roads and flyover. |
It is practically impossible for us to receive salary on a new grade level without getting our promotion letters. It quite how all known extant rules of the civil service have been bastardized. Everything now depends solely on the "Grace of God". So shameful how we degenerated into this unforgivable sorry state in a democracy. What I don't understand is this "by grace of God and miracles" about what Rivers state government has refused to do for over 10 ten years and still counting. It is laughable that some of us are exonerating past administration and this present one from doing the needful over the years because of none existing padding of salary figures. A poorly run system must look for phantom excuse to justify its failures. Many of us here are PDP alleluya singers. Past Gov. Wike set an ugly precedent and consolidated his atrocities against the entire civil service of Rivers state by installing his accountant general that supported him 100% to show us shege. SIM is going to show us "shege" pro max. Shouting Grace of God is hypocrisy of the highest order. The Grace of the living God can't dwell in a decrepit and messed environment. Rivers state that has placed infrastructural development far and above human capital development will remain in the Adamic or stone age for a longtime. |
Today is 30 days, Gov. SIM assumed office as the executive governor of Rivers state. Does it seems he is going to do anything different having surrounded himself with the same cabinet members that looked away while the last emperor pressed his heavy kneel on our necks? As it stands today, have civil servants in Rivers state been promoted? I want ask if state NLCs are not aware that FGN has increased their workers basic salary by 40% to caution the adverse effects of the already removed fuel subsidy? Former emperor Wike set a very bad precedent in Rivers state civil service. Unfortunately, we decided to reinforce failure by majority of civil servants in Rivers state voting PDP again. We deserve what we are currently getting. It is a long journey ahead of us. |
JudithGold:It is not only education sector. Virtually every sector is dead in Rivers state because the Governor is running the state as one man show with no spelt out policy direction. Rivers state has not had it so bad. Unfortunately, majority will vote his stooge again and our suffering will continue and will become more severe. Good governance is anchored on human capital development not the other way round. |
