A Final year student of the Cross Rivers University of Technology CRUTECH, was shot dead this morning at about 11.30am shortly after he finished his final year first semester examination.



He was said to have been stepping out of the examination hall when he was accosted by some fierce looking men who shot him at close range. The men fled the scene immediately.

A young man reportedly died today, after a policeman attached to a bank allegedly hit him with a wood during a verbal altercation with an unknown lady at the ATM in Enugu State.



The incident took place at First Bank branch located at Nkwo Inyi in Oji River Local Government Area of the state on Tuesday.




According to an eyewitness, Chinonso Udoye, a verbal altercation started between the victim and a lady over an undisclosed issue. Instead of settling the matter amicably, the police officer allegedly picked up a wood and hit the young man on the head. He slumped and died on the spot. Report below:

Decomposed body of man found months after missing in Rivers, wife accused of killing him for impregnating another Lady


The wife, Ajemina Douglas, was accused of killing him and burying his remains under the bridge. She was allegedly arrested by the police recently and she led the officers to the shallow grave where he was buried.

The Inspector General of Police, IGP Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, has ordered the positioning of specially trained Police K9 dogs to all railway stations in Nigeria.

Operatives of the IGP Intelligence Response Team, IRT, have handed over three suspected Advance Fee fraudsters to the Ibadan office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC for further investigation.
The suspects who are between 22 and 29 years of age include Ebenezer Adeniyi Oluwafemi, Kolade Samuel Sogo, and Olwagbenga Majeed Ejikunke. They were arrested Tuesday 4th, December, 2018 in Ilesha, Osun State following series of intelligence gathered by the operatives.

Preliminary investigations further revealed that the suspects allegedly got involved in different romance scam posing as female foreigners to fleece unsuspecting victims on the social media.

After series of investigation, the Management of the University of Ilorin on Friday said that one of their student identified as Mr. Adigun Emmanuel committed suicide as a result of severe drug addition.

The Director of corporate affairs of the university, Mr Kunle Akogun, made the revelation in a statement which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Ilorin.

Akogun stated that late Emmanuel of the Faculty of Agriculture “resorted to the unsavory action to ventilate his frustration over his failure in his final year project.”

“Mr. Adigun Emmanuel Adewale of the Faculty of Agriculture, committed suicide last Thursday November 29, 2018,” he explained.

Nigerian pop star, Small Doctor has been released from police custody today following his arraignment for unlawful possession of firearms and threatening violence against an officer.

Small doctor was arraigned earlier on Tuesday at the Ebute Metta Magistrate court along with the other occupants in his car. After they were arrested by the Shogunle police command in a supposed armed robbery attack.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has provided reasons it cannot arrest and prosecute former Governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole now.

Anti-graft agency EFCC is challenging the jurisdiction of the Federal High Court in Abuja to compel it to arrest and prosecute Oshiomhole, over allegation that he diverted public funds for his own personal use while in office as governor.
