If u make at least 100k at the end of every month, it's not bad but most people don't see it this way.. I'll tell a friend to stake on 5 odds with 1k or 2k but he will refuse and instead prefer to play with 1h on multiple tickets which he will later lose..
The most important things you should have when it comes to betting are DISCIPLINE, PATIENCE, ALWAYS LEARN FROM YOUR LOST, ABILITY TO SURF THE INTERNET.
