Without mincing words, the 2016 FCSC recruitment exercise has almost come to an end. We are waiting for the few expectants here to be presented appointment letters within a week, or at most, in two weeks as the issuance of appointment letters will not exceed this september, all this being equal. Nothing could be painful than applying for this job and not being shortlisted for the interview, many would say. And nothing could be more painful than being shortlisted for the interview and not being issued appontment letter in the end. Many people did not get this job because they had no human connection, except God that everybody has. Few got this job because both luck and favour smiled on their faces. And a tiny percentage got this job because they had the connections who made calls on their behalf. If you got this job like Erenje, onyiijanny,vivlyviv, gennylota, and many others here, a big congrats to you. If they never called you, there is still nothing much you can do than to learn to accept the things you cannot change. If this employment thought us anything, it has thought us that the most capable for a job is not always the most qualified. And just in case you never scaled through after the interview, still know that there is no experience in life that is not useful.

There was actually a list for interpreter and translator different from foreign service officers list, it has nothin to do with ur course of study, some language grad were under F.S.O list

Which commissioner? Was it after the interview or after documentation ? I studied French and I went for documentation but I was never today such

nice one but let every body know that there are some people who received APLs. I am a witness to it.A friend to friend of mine have received her own (foreign Affairs). You may not agree with me but this is a gospel truth.
