We presently have openings for the roles below:

Lead Biomedical Engineer :

Supports patient diagnosing and treatment by installing, testing, calibrating, and repairing biomedical equipment; training users; maintaining safe operations.

Education & Experience:

• Bsc or HND in Electrical Electronics,Biomedical Engineer Computer Engineering or any other related field
• 3 years or more experience working in Electrical Electronics
• 1 years working experience in a clinical setting will be an added advantage

Lead Biomedical Engineer Job Duties:

• Installs biomedical equipment by establishing, adjusting, calibrating, and testing performance.
• Maintains biomedical equipment by completing preventive maintenance schedules; conducting tests; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions; calling for special service; evaluating service contracts; maintaining equipment inventories.
• Tutoring junior biomedical engineering fellows on installation, repair and maintenance of medical equipment
• Directs biomedical equipment operation by providing equipment operation demonstrations; instructing other healthcare staff in use and care of equipment; answering questions; providing information.
• Evaluates proposed biomedical equipment by conducting tests and evaluations.
• Improves biomedical equipment performance by studying machine-patient interaction; conferring with equipment users; developing modifications; collaborating with equipment manufacturers.

• Maintains biomedical equipment supplies inventory by checking stock; anticipating needs; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
• Prepares biomedical reports by collecting, analysing and summarizing information and trends.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications; maintaining personal networks.

Pay is competitive and negotiable based on previous job experience.

Biomedical Engineering Fellow (Trainee):

Our biomedical engineering fellowship program is geared toward new graduates interested in a career in applied biomedical engineering. It is a 12 month paid intensive program where fellows learn from leading tutors around the globe while putting those new learned skills into use immediately. Our curriculum includes an intensive electronics course, entrepreneurship, rapid prototyping and product design and development. After the program, our fellow have the options of joining our organization or any other of their choice.

Education & Experience:

• Bsc or HND in Electrical Electronics, Biomedical and Computer Engineering or any other related field
• Preferred: Solid Background in Electronics
• Ability to learn quickly in a fast paced environment
• Currently serving Corpers or about to will be given more preference (Lagos)
