zombieHUNTER: Everyone should invest in their region
Don't learn the hard way 100%. No one can predict what will become of Nigeria in the next 5 or even 10 years. Lagos needs more capitalists like the ones below, and not just bunch of crayfish and lacasera sellers.

Stone03: What if seaports are opened in other places in Nigeria, what do you think will become of Lagos? Lagos state government created Lekki sea port. You can also create one in your own state. You don't have to wait for FG all the time. |

Deadlytruth: I thought they say Murtala Mohamed was Hausa? No. The mum is Fulani and the father is from Auchi in present day Edo state. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/02/remembering-murtala-mohammed/General Mohammed’s father, Mallam Dako Mohammed, was an indigene of Igbe Village, in Auchi Kingdom of Etsako west Local Government area of Edo State. But Murtala Mohammed himself was born in Kano to a mother from the Kano royal family. So, no one can deny him of indigeneship of Kano. |

DesChyko: It can be recalled that His Excellency, Peter Obi, had always drawn attention to the lack of potable drinking water in certain parts of Nigeria.
He took it upon himself to put up borehole projects in different affected areas, calling on the leaders and privileged individuals alike to also do their best on this regards. But he somehow forgot his own region.

freemanq: Yoruba and Fulani should continue to rule Nigeria while Igbo stand no chance, but remember who people are complaining more of hunger the most in Nigeria? Igbo don't care who is the president not vice president, all Igbo man want is good economy to do his business. Yet people in government use bad government policies to destroy the economy Those commiting suicide and killing kids for pot of soup have been ibos. Kids selling their body for Indomie and coke, baby factory e.t.c are all Ibos. Those that robbed an onion truck are ibos. Those that sold their vote for Okpa or Jollof are Ibo. You can only gaslight people that are not bright. |

Tunde835: It's only the Igbos that have barely ruled Nigeria since inception apart from Nmandi azikiwe or some coups here and there Since 1999 till present the Igbos don't stand a chance for presidency Even the 2023 election they were expecting to win. Tinubu snatched it away from their so called Messiah Yorubas have ruled two full terms twice and a vice presidency while Igbos have nothing. It's Yoruba and Hausa that are dragging to rule this country exchanging at the driver's wheel at the front of the car while the rest stay at the back of the car This is a senseless post. We have not had an Hausa president in Nigeria. |

Shikena: Well, he eventually japa but on a different level. Also, he had a good job in the FinTech sector that exposed him to all that he needed, including the partnerships, for his subsequent ventures. He has always been exceptional. Yeah. I won't say he jap-ed. He just opened an office in London and made the UK his 2nd home. Last time I saw him physically aside sm communication was around 2013 in VI, I believe he was still at Chams then, while I was searching for KLM office to buy ticket and eventually japa-ed myself a few days later. Happy he is what he is now and doing great for himself. He was very bright at OAU too. In year two, he was getting paid by 5th year engr students to help them with final year projects. |

Charmingrascal: Hmm
Few years from now they will accuse the Ikwerres, the Benins and maybe the Yorubas of founding ESN. This is their way, they blame everybody except themselves. Similar to how they some are praising Ekpa now while others are calling him FG's boy. When Ekpa eventually gets arrested, both groups switch to emotional blackmail aka victim mentality. |

Gerrard59: The argument by them is that we should not be subsidising other people's medical systems considering we don't have enough funds. This. When I travelled abroad for my 2nd degree and hear of the big student loan alot of the home students have or were paying back, I start realizing that the only thing I gained from Nigeria was the almost free education I got at OAU. Then my accomodation was 90 naira per year. I think it eventually got increased and school fees went up after I graduated as well, but still very low compared to what alot of people are paying in developed countries. |

olalekan1: Majority of them are children of the rich who can pay exorbitant school fees of private schools. At these private schools, they have internal arrangements for making their students excel in examinations. After school, their parents sponsor them further to either another private school or abroad. I can bet that there are students that excel just like the ones you have listed here but here in Nigeria struggling, you should be holistic in your sampling. School is no scam truly but higher education may be scam because is not everybody that is destined to further their education up to tertiary institutions, such people are good in something else. I know a few that did that. Some of the guys are now doctors in the US, Canada, UK e.t.c. That's just life. Pre-campus around ogba during that era was a good example. Extremely expensive But those students too were mostly smart else, they would have struggled at university. |
