went for Visa BI/B2 interview.

VO: Ur passport pls.
ME: Handed over my passport.

VO: Where are u going to in the US:
Me: Bleep conference.
( he seems to know about the conference since he didnt ask for clarification. Its a oil and gas conference.)

VO: Have you travelled out before? ( I noticed he flipped through my passport to see my stamps. I have several stamps since i have travelled severally outside nigeria.
Me: Yes. ( France, spain, Sweden , UK, I also schooled in the UK.

VO: What course did you study:
Me: Petroleum Eng.

VO: Where do you work:
Me: XXXXXXX. As a XXxxxxxX.

VO: How long av you worked with them?
Me: 6 months.

VO: Where else have u worked as a xxxxxxx ?
Me: XXXxxxx., and xxxxxx.

VO: DO you have kids:
ME: I have xxxxxx kids.

VO: thank you. I will issue u a visa. U pick it up ........ bla blaa.

My Advice. I noticed a lot of people seem not well prepared for the interview. they answered and talked too much trying to convince the VO.
I noticed people who talk so much trying to defend your case without being asked were refused. So talk less and answer their questions only with very little elaboration.
Your travel history is very important to them and they asked almost everyone that same question. (Where else have you travvlled to ? ).

Yea, i was to have mine on the 4th too. Got a mail 2 days later that it was rescheduled for 19th . SO pls check your email and your portal for new date.

This happened to my dad too on the March 4th? And he hadn’t got an email to reschedule nor can he reschedule from his account. He has opened a support ticket and they just replied saying to wait to be marked no show by the embassy so he can reschedule or wait to be automatically rescheduled.

Wondering if you have gotten any response from them?
