He was deputy governor, the Alimiesha was removed, he became governor, without contest.

Then from Governor-elect, he was made VP, without contest. Then from VP, Umaru died and he became president and served 6 years.

Now APC is begging him to come and serve additional 4 years to make it 10 years.
