The history of the Supreme Eiye
Confraternity owes its heritage to
the wise and noble “Aro Metta”.
On the 15th June 1969 the “Aro
Metta” came together under the
Araba tree, to develop what will be
recognised as the first
constitution of the Supreme Eiye
Confraternity any years later. This
event signalled the beginning of
the most traditional and original
confraternity in Nigerian history.
From Araba nest, Eleye grew in
power, fame and recognition.
Reaching far and wide,
unrestricted, undeterred, unfazed.
Reaching as far as the sky
spread.''
THE SITUATION AT THE MOMENT
As the saying goes, in every 12
disciples their is a Judas.Be that
as it may, there are definitely BAD
eggs in the BROTHERHOOD,

noble association for there selfish

Eiye Confratenity Cultist are mostly Armed Robbers : One of the armed robbery
suspects recently arrested by the
Lagos State Special Anti robbery
Squad (SARS) operatives,
identified as Abiodun Olarenwaju,
has confessed, that apart from
joining the notorious five man
armed robbery gang that makes
lives unbearable for citizens living
in Aja- Leki and Ijanikin area,
Lagos south west Nigeria, he is
also a member of Eye
confraternity. Abiodun Olarenwaju,
a 27-year-old, married with two
children told Daily Newswatch that
places such as Leki- Ajah, Epe
Ijanikin, Bariga, Mushin and other
black spots in Lagos environment
have been taken over by cultists
and armed robbers. He said the
police are unable to put to rest
this ugly trend as a result of the
personalities backing them.
He confessed that in Lekki area of
Ajah, “there are various groups of
cultists operating there
borderlessly. You can quote me
that some traditional rulers and
owners of the land are
responsible for their existence.”
The suspect said he was ready to
work with the police authority If
set free as most cultists are
children of wealthy Nigerians. He
confessed that the reason why he
joined the Eye confraternity gang
was to enable him gain more
grounds in his robbery vocation.
According to him, 99 percent of
suspected armed robbers and
notorious criminals are members
of cult groups.
“See, let me tell you, that before I
joined robbery, I was screened
and tested to confirm if am
capable to be part of them .I was
practically tested and I showed
them the stuff am made of”, he
said .The suspect, also told Daily
Newswatch that he was among the
five- man robbery gang that
terrorized Christ Authority and
Evangelical Ministry (C A P E N )
in Ijanikin, Lagos Badagry Express
way. According to him, one Abbey
Edward, a Beninoise who is the
gang leader, usually supply and
sell arms and ammunition for him
and other robbery gang members.
He described Edward, as an
importer of dangerous weapons
like A.K 47riffles, English Berretta
pistol and pump action guns or
riffles. He also said that aside
from buying guns from him, “he
recruits foreigners to join us in
any operation considered too
dangerous to handle by the
locals”. He also explained that
each double barrel pistol is sold
for #20, 000 and when it is
smuggled into Nigeria through
legal routes; the pistol would be
sold for #40,000 while A.K 47 and
A. k 49 riffles are sold for between
#250,000 and #300,000. He also
confessed that politicians who
want to contest with other
opponents and have them
eliminated would normally recruit
cultists for such an ugly business.
Abiodun Olarenwaju an under
graduate dropped out of
University of Benin, was in tears
regretting his involvement in
criminal matters. He lamented that
he did not complete his University
education, saying that bad friends
and the urge to make it fast, led
him to crime and criminality.
He said SARS is the only security
outfit that could flush out crimes
and criminality in the state. The
matter was however charged to
court, while effort was being made
to track down other members of
the criminal gang said to be on
the run.

Most Robbery Operations done are carried out by these Cultist yet they still have the gut to organize meeting in Large numbers Publicly, one person said such meeting should be reported so that they can round them up that day, another person said, even some Police are among them and any report made, the reported details would be collected, tracked down and killed. I was shocked. what a Country!!! These Cultist were so Confidence as they walk, drive Okada,few in a car. Last Month, in my Area Armed Robbers operated, we heard serious gun shots, they operated in 5 houses successful, they were heavily armed according to a Landlord who was a Victim. 4 days ago my father received a call and the caller identifies himself as the Leader of an Armed Robbery gang telling my father they are coming to pay a visit to Him. Yesterday we saw 2 other landlords brought out letter sent by Armed Robbers Informing to visit again. Today while my father was about entering with His car at the Gate someone on bike swiftly packed by His car at the Gate and dropped a Letter and sped off, in the Letter it says 2 million Naira or your life and your family. If my father proves stubborn to give them money they would come force fully to Rob and we are free to Report to the Police. what shall we do? Thinking this is Just a mere threat.
