bro,is dat double tap to wake a feature, cos i use Nokia 2,nd its nt working, pls help me out

It is a feature that helps relieve your power button of the stress that comes with having to tap on it every time. I am unsure about it's inclusion on the nokia 2.

i have been constantly checking olx to be on the lookout for a cheap phone, logged out and logged in to see this ugly thing, in as much as change is constant, they should make it worthwhile, they seem to want to be a copycat of international used gadgets market place but this is a big miss, the previous design will identify you by cookies, show you location of deals before even clicking on them but this change right here is just utter rubbish cos i still don't understand why i need to login with my facebook account in order to acess deals plus the location search feature is now wack, it used to be location specific in the past, now it's more like locations have been grouped, they should revert back to the old interface, i loved that one.

18:9 full screen is the trendy design in nowadays..

i don't really dig that display, i prefer the native 5.5 inches with a lil bezel

good display, mad camera and battery, 4g lte, badass speakers, double tap to wake

foolish man, wasted his life and that of his children

Please guys always ask for the IMEI of the phones you are interested in buying and run a check online. I’ve noticed most dishonest sellers won’t give you the IMEI. In this case, please remind the seller that the person picking up has sim cards from AT&T, Tmobile, and sprint and he will test all 3 and if they don’t all work, he won’t buy it. This way they know they might get busted and back out from the deal.

Step One
visit www.imepro.com and input the IMEI in the box.
For iPhones, make sure the brand says “Apple.” Phone model matches the one the seller told you, it will say something like “iPhone 8 A1863” for iPhone 8. Make sure Find my iPhone is “OFF.” If Find My iPhone isn’t off, please tell the seller to turn off the phone before I get there. Make sure iCloud status* says “Clean.” Make sure blacklist status** says “Clean.” See a picture example below.
For Samsung Phones make sure the brand says “Samsung” and the phone model matches what the seller told you, it will say something like “Galaxy S7 Edge G935T” for Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

If step one’s blacklist status doesn’t say clean but says “UNKOWN” please visit https://swappa.com/esn, input the IMEI and make sure the blacklisted result says “Not Indicated” and the Activation status reads “Clear.” Then proceed to Step Two

Step Two
Check to see if the phone is locked to any network or under financial obligation. On the same website www.IMEIpro.comsimply click on the top you are a selection to check AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile. Simply click any of the following at the top of the page “US AT&T IMEI checker” or “US Sprint IMEI checker” or “US T-Mobile IMEI checker.”

For AT&T http://www.imeipro.info/att-imei-check.html
For Sprint http://www.imeipro.info/sprint_imei_check.html
For T-Mobile http://www.imeipro.info/tmobile-imei-check.html

If the status says “IMEI is clean in Tmobile network” for example, it means that phone was activated on Tmobile and the seller owes no money and therefore has every right to ask Tmobile to unlock it so that he can sell it. Usually this means that the phone is unlocked.
If you checked one network and the result says “It seems this device does not belong to US T-Mobile carrier” please check Sprint and AT&T. If none of the 3 networks yields anything, it most likely means that the phone belongs to Verizon and that’s generally a good thing because Verizon phones are usually unlocked. Just make sure step one shows that the phone is clean.
If you checked and it says FED Policy (financial eligibility): “Not eligible” or Status “The device is still under financial responsibility and or contract” it means that the phone is locked to that network because the seller still owes money (see picture below). What might happen is that the seller probably stole the phone and it has not been reported yet. Or the seller still owes money and stopped paying, but once he sells it to you, he might report it stolen later or the network provider will just blacklist it. Again just because a phone is black listed doesn’t mean it will not work in Nigeria, usually they are only blacklisted on American networks and usually work in Nigeria, just know that’s what it is and you can use it as a bargaining chip to negotiate a lower price.
That’s it guys, doing this will prevent an uneventful pickup and paying unnecessary fuel charges. If you are unable to carry out this check please pay someone like frinx 500 naira to help you, definitely way less than $20 or more fuel charge. When I’m chanced I might make a quick video.

The way you take out time to explain things is amazing

The seller get cheap iphone 6?

Clone2020:
Another tip that works sometimes. If the phone is locked to any of the major American phone networks like AT&T for example. Find out how much it will cost you in naija to unlock the phone, do your math and if the total favors you then proceed and tell the seller you will be paying $50 or whatever to have the phone unlocked to another network and it will be nice if he can come down further. Say the phone is locked to AT&T (very cheap to unlock in naija) persuade your seller that you will be using the phone on Tmobile and the price to unlock it will be $50, sometimes the seller might come down even further or say he can unlock it for less. No harm in trying.

Also, it doesn't hurt posing as a female with a cute young girl's picture, men won't haggle with you over price... Just don't overdo it

Biz don quick start be that, you don even start pickup. Nice one bro.

Fulaman198:
I am also using Ubuntu 17.10 but I have used Mint before (which is good) but Mint is definitely more difficult to install on a system with Fast/Secure Boot (UEFI-based systems) than Ubuntu 17.10 which comes with native support on secure boot.

Personally for anyone who is a developer, software engineer or Computer Scientist once you use a GNU-based Linux system, it is very hard to go back to Windows.

MacOS is ok, being a BSD-Derived form of UNIX, but I just like GNU-Linux (debian/Ubuntu/Mint) flavour the most.

Since i started using linux, my hatred for windows grows everyday

In light of what has been going on lately, supposed searchers charging exhorbitant prices for ‘searching for deals’, I'll be dropping links and price tag from time to time for free. The official picker will still be Mikky. All you need do is forward the link to him. I’ll drop the phone number, address and link along side the agreed price of course. Thanks.

swap with dell inspiron 3558 and you add some cash

I think everyone should stick to the kind of giving that works for them, i rarely tithe i don't keep a good account of my income as it is mostly from hand-to-mouth but, there is hardly a day that i won't give to people that needs it and so far, it has been working like a charm for me. I clearly remember a day i was coming from work and an old woman asked me for #50 to secure dinner, i gave her more and i went my way, I could hear her blessing me, guess what? The next day i got 77k I did not work for in a legit way and that is what i used for the procurement of this laptop i am typing on.

both looking like they are trying to push out hard turds
