Travel Ads / Pls Dear Ma'am & Sirs, Need An Answer From Everyone, GOD Bless You All. by oppymit: 2:48pm On May 09, 2018
Good day ma'am & sir, pls am asking this question on behalf of my elders sister & her husband; they went for U.S. visa interview in Lagos last two years with their three children, two girl & a boy but they were denied under section 214b of b1 b2 U.S visa. The purpose of their traveling is on tourist with hotel reservation & they will use the opportunity to visit a family friend who live & work in US & he sent them an invitation letter. They have gave birth to another baby boy last year after they went for the interview, making two girls & two boys. Pls my question is they are planning to reapply but not with all the children again base on financial aspect, pls how can they plan it that will look more genuine & reasonable in the eyes of the consular that will interview them??

my wife and I was denied under section 214 (b) of us nonimmigrant visiting visa on 7th june 2017, the purpose of our trip is visiting my elder brother and his family for a family reunion because we are both on leave. I think the cause of the deny is base on my stammerer, I stammered a lot during our interview, although I answered all the questions currently but much gaps from one words to another, although I'm a stammerer from birth. but I guess is my fault for not informing the consular officer at the beginning of the interview that I'm a stammerer. the first and second question in our interview goes to my wife and she answerd it smoothly and politely. I want to reapply soon but I'm confused on what to do with the way I stammer, the consular might thinks again that I'm afraid because I'm lying and that is why I stammer. pls my brothers and sisters advise me on what to do, your advice will really be appreciate. GOD bless you all.

this are the question asked by the consular officer:

we: good morning ma
co: how are you?
we: fine
co: your international passport?
I pass it to her
co: where are you going?
my wife: so so place
co: what do you do?
my wife: she answerd smoothly & politely
co: have you travell before?
me: I stammered, silent like about 5 to 6 seconds before I reply yes to so so country
co: what is multichoice? she ask the question because I worked with multichoice
me: I gave her the right answer but I stammered a lot before saying it all, much gaps from one words to another. she press the computer for about 10 seconds & she bring out the blue print paper & told us read it, you will know why you are deny.

my wife & I was denied under section 214 (b) of US nonimmigrant visiting visa on 7th june 2017, the purpose of our trip is visiting my elder brother and his family for family reunion & he is a US citizen. the reason why we are denied is because I stammered a lot on our interview day, I was not able to talk straight, enough of gaps from one word to the other, I was too slow to respond to questions asked by the consular, the first & second question goes to my wife & she repond to the question smoothly & politely. naturally I'm a stammerer from birth, I though may be it was my fault for not telling the consular at the beginning of the interview that I'm a stammere.please what should I do when going for another interview at the US embassy in lagos & when can I reapply? please I need a good advice on this, any advise from everyone will be really appreciate.
