In case you have forgotten, layering scents allows you to create a new, unique scent that's as nuanced as your style — evolving according to your mood, the season, or the event you’re headed to that evening.



TIPS FOR FRAGRANCE LAYERING
1. Prepare your skin: Apply fragrances mostly after having a bath.
2. Keep the layers light for a start: Lighter note fragrances eg black opium, Good girl, Sugar baby are easier to layer than heavy note fragrances (Amouage interlude, Oud ispahan)
3. Stay in the same family for a start: Start layering scents that are in or close to the same family (woody, floral, Fresh, citrus, oriental)
4. Go heavy first: When layering, heavier scents should be sprayed first so that they don't overpower the lighter ones. Maybe a spray of the heavy scent and two sprays of the light scent.
5. Make your scent last: Do this by applying a moisturizer before you apply the perfume oils on your skin.
Example of a moisturizer you could use is blue seal vaseline.
