once the cocoa start to shed plantian a kind of mini shed will happen n that will surpress the mother plant of plantain n it will reduce the production of sucker as well

But, the plantain will be producing suckers. What will happen to all these producing suckers? I am asking this question, because I am planning to go into cocoa plantation next year

Op, when you intercrop plantain and cocoa on an acre of land, is it that after harvesting plantain, one will uproot plantain totally or both plantain and cocoa can be planted together for several years.
