Did anyone in Nigeria successfully get their Trade Test recognised by ZAB?


2. How long did your ZAB recognition process take?


3. Did you have to post your original certificates, or were scanned copies enough?


4. How did you pay the €150 ZAB fee from Nigeria (Remitly, Wise, or someone in Germany)?


5. Which documents did ZAB ask for apart from the Trade Test certificates?


6. How did you get proof of employment — did your company issue a letter?


7. What happened after ZAB recognised your certificate — did you use it for a visa?


8. Has anyone had their ZAB application rejected? What reason did they give?

I have Trade Test I, II, and III certificates (government approved) and my WAEC result.

I’m currently trying to apply for the Germany Opportunity Card (Chancenkarte) to move to Germany and work.

I want to ask:

1. Has anyone here successfully used Trade Test certificates for their Germany Opportunity Card or ZAB recognition?


2. How did you process the recognition (ZAB) from Nigeria?


3. Did you use any agency or direct application?


4. How long did it take to get your ZAB or recognition certificate?


5. Can someone recommend a reliable agent or guide for this process?



I’ve already done the Quick Check on Make it in Germany, and it says I can apply for the Opportunity Card.
