Nigg3369:It will not because your phone will only draw a maximum of 18w from it. Chargers don't impose currents on phones. Since your phone is not configured to work with 27w, the charger cannot release it. Chargers and phones do communicate at all times. At times, your phone may even draw 8w or 11.6w from that 27w charger. It varies and not static. Hope you understand? Also, QC4.0 is backward compatible with QC3.0 and QC2.0. It means any of the QC charger can equally do the job at almost the same time. The only issue is since your charger can release up to 27w , but your phone can only accept a maximum of 18w out of that, you may have wasted your money, except you are maintaining the charger as investment, that may have perfect use in the future.. 3 Likes |

Anywhere, it may provide you with an opportunity to learn further useful lessons in a hard way. In this instance, how can you distinguish a fake, for example , a fake Samsung memory card from an original? Nigg3369:In reality, there will not be any remarkable difference in the speed and time a QC4.0 charger will charge this phone from what a QC3.0 and even QC2.0 chargers can do!! In as much as the phone maximum charging input is pegged at 18w, QC2.0 and QC3.0 will charge it effectively because both are also 18w capable and backward compatible. The phone will only draw a maximum of 18w from the 27w QC4.0 Charger can generate. So the extra capacity of the QC4.0 Charger above 18w will be redundant and incapable of damaging your phone's battery. So no big deal.
