I don't agree with this ban. Now let's assume that in the next 5 months 3 more prominent sons dies in different months will the ban also continue, if yes, when will it now end because as far as life is concerned people will keep dieing.

I took time to read most of the comments here and as usual i wasn't disappointed.

Listen, those of you calling this woman names and talking about how she benefitted from Yoruba simply because she married Akerodolu who is Yoruba are missing the argument.

First, ask yourself, how long did this woman stay with her hubby? Look, if she could live this many number of years with her husband probably could mean that her husband and children share in her views about Yorubas. For the fact that Akerodolu never came out to speak doesn't mean anything less.

He still went ahead and used her as first lady of Ondo state, and you think all that was camouflage or some stupidity from Akerodolu? You don't understand marriage then. Both the husband and the children may probably share the woman's thought about the Yorubas reason they could live together. For the fact that Akete is Yoruba doesn't mean he loved Yoruba too much.
