You are the one calling Etche Igbo. Never seen an Etche person in real life who claims to be Igbo only online. Ngwa claim that they migrated from Ikwerre and if they decide they are Igbo that is their problem.

I remember one Ngwa fellow on nairaland here who was also talking about how they were misled to tag along with Igbo identity despite warning by Ikwerre.

Intermarriage happens everywhere, since we settled closer to the igbos, our ancestors married Igbo daughters to avoid marrying their own siblings and somehow the Igbo daughters married into our land taught their children the Igbo language. And this practice happens till date where children found themselves speaking their mother's language. If the Igbos claim we came from them, let's hear their own Kanu and Ojukwu story about the ancestors of Ikwerres. Before the civil war, the Igbos came to settle in Ikwerre land and began to rename our streets bearing our true ancestral names to their language names. Now during the civil war they killed us and did a lot of evil to us whom they now claim is their brothers (since they're unaware of the language-work of their daughters married by our ancestors). Now, when the war was intensified, they ran away (why would they run if they owned the place?). When we saw how we were tricked by those tribes, we took back our properties they stole from us, we won the battle.

Currently, it's been projected that by 2030, we shall have 40% electric cars plying the road. The question then is, what will happen to our crude oil and how can we survive as a nation?

What is going on in places like Canada and EU countries is what is going on in Lagos and other South western states. Yoruba conservatism must be activated fully or else, migrants will start claiming they have a right to Olubadan, Eleka or Awujale thrones in the next 50 years.

Why don't you ask the real question, that why isn't he building something like this in ebonyi ? And the answer is because ebonyi have not created the environment that is necessary to attract such projects, ebonyi and the easterners are low-key Ipob apologists and so if patoranking tries to build such projects in ebonyi,Ipob can target him and kill him.if igbos want nigerians to take them serious, they must condenm and disassociate themselves from all activities of Ipob.
May God punish for that stupid word if Igbo want nigeria to take them serious you idiot the order ones you are taking serious what changes or this ipob started when ?

Keep quiet, when he came to Lagos as a rat poison seller do you know him. For someone to do this, shows he might have been supported in that hood back in the days. Ebonyi's are liberal people and that is why you other igbos don't like them. They live honest life and believe in Nigeria. Go and mark it down, that an Ebonyi man will either get president or vice than others Igbo. I knew many in Benin then, they are totally different and honest about their businesses. No pride and God will definitely elevate on of them to national height by his grace. They condemned ipob activities very well. The hatred for David umahi till date you other igbos his because of his stance against those modafuckers. Ebonyi's is the most peaceful state in east now because they don't support ipob madness.

If omnipotent forces exist, they seem to love Nigeria. I've always felt that one of the significant hindrances to Nigeria fulfilling her obvious destiny to be the greatest black Nation to ever exist, is the lack of nationalism in Nigerians. Nigerians need Nigeria as their central focus for emotional and practical investment and if Xenophobia helps facilitate this - by isolating Nigerians and forcing them to be thire Nigerian brothers keepers - then so be it.

For some bizarre reason, significant Nigerians are external or world focused rather than Nigeria focused. It was alarming, witnessing Northern Nigerians virtually threatening Nigeria on behalf of cousins in Niger Republic when Tinubu rightly or wrongly threatened Niger Republic with military intervention in line with the relevant ECOWAS rules. Strangely the people of Niger Republic never seem to consider these supposed Nigerian cousins that care so much for them. Same sort of unequal love seems to mark the relationship between Western Nigeria and their supposed cousins in Benin Republic and Togo. When on Social Media, Nigerians only seem to receive hostility from those Nations. They are only enthusiastic when some foolish Nigerians from the West tout Lagos as a possible regional Capital and when these same Nigerians talk of Nigeria investing in roads linking Nigeria to Lome, Porto- Novo, Accra and Yamoussoukro.

Then there are Nigerian musicians organising all sorts of promotions in Ghana that promoted Ghana at Nigeria's expense. Simone Ekpa is in Finland threatening Nigeria. Kanu was in London threatening Nigeria. Nigerians go to Canada and rubbish Nigeria. Nigerians do the same from America; from South Africa; from every Shithole including Rwanda, Ghana, Pakistan and Afghanistan!

After rubbishing thire great nation Nigeria to the nationals of all these nations, Nigerians are surprised when the citizens of these places become funky and want to look down on them. And since civilian Nigerians have a habit of not accepting responsibility for thire actions, they then claim it's Nigeria leaders fault for the rubbish they receive.
Nigeria great nation you be mumu you don't know the meaning of great

They're just playing a tit for tat game ni. Our government said their university certificate was worth nothing, which had discouraged Nigerians from assessing a more cheaper education in Benin without strike. They banned importation of rice from Benin for years. Which reasonable neighbour does that when the fed government understood the meaning of comparative advantage?

While the ban was in force, they didn't even do anything locally to empower youths and Local farmers to upgrade their rice farming to a large scale one rather, they went to Abuja and built up fake rice pyramid to make their gullible supporters think their wicked policy was working. During the closed border, Benin Republic invested more in tourism and used same to boost their economy. I visit there always. You'd see foreigners on the streets of Benin as if you're in Europe. That's a country that's serious. During the period, their currency obertook ours by a wide margin, what used to be a useless currency in africa.

There was no allegation the Nigerian government didn't level against Benin which included fuel smuggling. Has that caused our fuel price to come down, now that border had been closed? Had that impacted our economy positively? I leave you to answer that. Benin also goes to same place where we import fuel from, to buy. It's an open market

Ayobamidele Kehinde, the International Director of Dynamic Ambassadors for Social Transformation and Orientation Initiatives, has made shocking revelations of the xenophobic attacks Nigerians are currently facing in Benin Republic.

According to him, many Nigerians are languishing in Benin's detention for years without trial.

He claimed that Benin citizens are asking Nigerians to go back to their country.

Let me correct you on your last paragraph...Benin can do much more, without us if they could survive years of border closure. What exactly do we export to them? Nothing!
May God bless you and your family for explaining it to them
