Looking back in history, No environment is conducive until it is invested in ...... America, Australia and more recently Dubai, Lekki. You have to collectively envisage positive change otherwise it will never happen. AS in all things in life I think it is always best to make sure YOUR 'home' is improved before you start improving others.

claremont: My ex-girlfriend was Igbo and she was the epitome of everything a man needs in a woman. A great cook, wild in bed , good listener and from a down-to-earth home as well. I have dated a lot of ladies from different cultures, but she showed me the good side of her being Igbo. I spent a lot of money on her but she deserves every penny of it.

I think being a good or bad person does not depend on the culture a person is born into. Good and bad people exist in all cultures, the onus rests on those who hunt to make sure they hunt strategically .

duni04: Funny thing is I'm yoruba and I prefer Igbo girls to Yoruba girls. Yoruba girls are lousy, very material and always disrespectful. Most of the Igbo girls I know are either staunch catholics or very serious pentecostal Christians. Its easier to find a chaste Igbo girl than a yoruba one.

Whilst I am not trivialising the death of this blessed man, EVERYWHERE you travel to in the world you have Good and Bad. As someone who was born and breed in the UK I have personally experienced the Good and Bad points of Europe and America. As a legacy to this man's memory more people should try and invest in Nigeria rather than continually put it down. And finally, as a traveller you should always try to blend into your surroundings rather than wear designer clothes in a poor community - you will stick out like a sore thumb.
