I made a lot of mistakes

I posted one here. On the main application form, I entered my details as spouse details instead of my husband's details.

On the Appendix 2, I entered the wrong category. It should be self employed plus salaried employment. This is because my husband has been self employed since December but I chose salaried employement all through because I was confused.

I submitted all necessary financial documents though.

Please I need your help. I am pregnant and traveling to the UK (24 weeks). Please will I need fit to fly from my doctor or port health? Also, what are the likely problems I might encounter. I am going to join my husband and I would need people who have travelled in similar situations to share their experience or let me know what to do.
Thanks all

Go your doctor where you obtained your antenatanal and request a fit to fly letter. If you don't have it they won't carry you. Alternatively you can get on from the airport clinic. They will probably charge 1/2thousand naira.

@ Oridiya I think you should send a member of your family as advised.

I am so sorry about your health, I pray God heals and strengthen you.

I need someone who has a similar experience or knows someone that works there. This is because someone else said only family members that applied with you.

The staff at TLS told my respresentative that they can only give the passport to a family member or someone who applied in jointly with me.

Please can anyone give any suggestions on how else to get my passport. I cannot fly to lagos at the moment because of my health condition. Th plan is to travel to U.K. From port harcourt once the doctor gives a go ahead.

I made a serious error in my application form. I just noticed it now.

In the section for spouse/ partner, I filled my own details instead of my husband. I only filled his details in the sponsors space.

Please can anyone advice?

As soon as I saw mine, I thought of you instantly. I'm praying hard. Can't believe June will end and we will see them. I also haven't received any email from TLS neither has hubby. I couldn't do the search, initially it was telling me it hasn't recognised my reference number but hubby did it and it worked instantly.

Please when did you send your documents to Sheffield?

All original documents goes to Sheffield .

They take the front page of your online application ,
your passport
,they scan your old front page passports(if you have ) ,extra additional information (if you have) .
You photocopy all visas and passport pages .

Thank you Joy

Another question? Are contractors classified as permanent or temporary jobs?
Travel / Re: UK Spouse Visa/Appeal Process-part2 by Oridiya: 6:45pm On Jun 04, 2017
Please is there anyone that submitted in the last 4 weeks? DO they still scan original documents at TLS VI? or does one have to just mail everything to Sheffield.

Health / Re: Pregnancy Are You Pregnant Or Going Through A High Risk Pregnancy,,lets Talk by Oridiya: 7:55am On May 25, 2017
Dear ladies in the house. Good morning. I have been following you silently but today I have to speak out because I have an emergency.

I have had 2 miscarriages in first trimester and one living child who is 4 years old.

The last miscarriage was in November last yea. I started having sever back pain and spotting from the day I missed my period till 12 weeks. The scan kept showing that the baby was 1week behind. The baby finally stopped growing at 8.5weeks. I don't know if there was ever a heartbeat because the sonographer in the hospital was always saying there was a heartbeat. It was only when I went to an external Ultrasound that they told me The baby was already dead and not growing.

I am 7 weeks and 4days pregnant today. I also started having back pains from the day I missed my period. I saw some smelly brown clots on at 5weeks 1 day. I was put on cyclogest. The pain went and came back again at 6 weeks. Gestone was added and the doctor said he suspects an infection and gave me antibiotics. I also had a culture that same but when the result came out, there was no bacteria infection only yeast. The pain stopped when I toook gestone and antiobiotics and came back at 7weeks with red bleeding.

I am back to the hospital and I am on admission. I feel the doctors are not doing a good job. One doctor came and and put me on glucose and saline drip 1 litter. My temperature went from 36.7 c to 34.88 c. I started complaining and they said it's nothing. When the drip finished they wanted to add more Glucose drip, I asked them to please do me a casting blood sugar and they found out my sugar level was now 205mg/dl. The nurse was still trying to force me to take the glucose drip. I refused and called for the doctor. That was when the now gave me on saline. The sugar then came down to 70 after 3 hours. 1 hour later it went up to 90 again. Mind you I have not eaten anything.

So my sugar has been going up without any food.

The pain in my back is getting worse. They were giving me painkillers before but I stopped because I I found out that it's an opiod.

Pls can someone recommend a good doctor in Lagos that can handle high risk pregnancy. I have pcos

The child will not affect your application but you still need to include his name but make it clear that you are not traveling with the child.

Bringing the child later will not be easy unless you do it after getting your British citizenship or your hubby adopting that child which will not be easy though.

Justwise and lexusg430,

Thank you so much for your response. He is considering adopting him but we have been told that it's very difficult in nigeria. He then says he will do it in UK. The boy is a USA citizen.

Any advice?

Spousal visa and settlement visa, I think are one and the same!!!!!
Your wife needs to apply for a settlement visa, including your son on the same application.

Justwise and Lexusgs430 please help me answer this question.

I got married to a British citizen we have a child ). I plan to join my husband this year but we want to spend at least one year alone together before I bring my child over. The child will stay with my husband's mom in nigeria when I leave for the UK.

Will this affect my application?

Please I have some questions.

1. Do I really need Naric certificate or is my Transcript and Statement of Result enough?
A friend only applied with her degree certificate and was approved.

2. If I can use only my transcript, should it be addressed to UKVI or can i address to myself and then present it during interview.
