Pls, I need TECNO DROID PAD 7C PRO custom recovery, be it CWM or TWRP. 7c pro users are being exempted from enjoying all kinds of tweaking since 2015 (the release date)..... Help us pls!!!

* Unzip the TWRP zip file and flash the recovery image to the phone using Sp flash tool @ https://forum..com/thread-159.html
* Boot the phone into TWRP recovery mode
* In TWRP recovery, tap Install
* Navigate to the location of the SuperSU zip file you downloaded in the first step then flash

I don't have good engineers near me, is it not possible to backup his rom??

Guys, I was told to install vcom drivers manually, n I was seeing '' how to install MTK65XX vcom drivers on ur pc'' but then I learnt tecno c8 is mtk67xx, shudda just install MTK65XX or search specifically for mtk67xx.. Thanks a lot

Same thing here one of my friend just bought new camon c8 I tried 2 help him 2 update it I checked on d system update I didn't c it

Check his build number in settings>about.... If it it 20151102, then the software was already updated by tecno

I think that update was removed. I checked a new c8 today and didn't find the update

My father has a c8 that's showing software updates, can I backup his rom n flash it into mine? If yes, how do I backup the rom.. Wanna use sp flash tool to flash it into mine

You can edit it using a text editor, and you can locate the build.prop from a file explorer with root access. You must be rooted.
It's best you google multi user function in android lollipop and read about it to know if you'll need it

Plus guys, somebody helped me flash my phone (I think he flashed the stock rom), when I checked the build number I saw that it is 20150709, I tried to update it but it's telling me that my system is up to date.... Help ASAP

Thanks, I barely know anything about backing up/flashing/rooting Tecno c8, the only tool I've downloaded now is sp flash tool, so pls add ds number to the tecno c8 whatsapp group or private chat... I really need us help bros

Pls guys, I switched off my tecno c8, then it started showing 'Experience Smartlife Now' every 3 secs, when I press the power n vol+ or - buttons it slows down to once in every 7secs)(i.e it doesn't respond to any command), although I took it to carlcare n they repaired it, but what makes me scared is that it has happened twice since oct3
