Foreign Affairs › Re: Pakistan Taught Iran In Theory And Practical, lesson for Nigeria by Originality007: 5:37pm On May 12, 2025 |
Biodun556: When Israel bombarded Hisbullah and kill its leader Hassan Nasrallah. Pakistan schooled Iran that look, "you can not continue to rely on missiles. Missiles can not take the place of air force. there is need to provide air cover for your allies".
Sanctions were the reasons why Iran couldn't procure modern military and civil aircraft. Its air force was full of old fighter jets that can never compete with Israel reasons why Iran was developing missiles and air defense system.
After second Israel retaliation. Something terrible happened to Iran. US F35 broke Iran air defense, bombed a drone factory. This made Iran to halt operation true promise 3 retaliation against Israel. This testified to Pakistan observation for the second time.
Due to Iran assistant to Russia in ongoing Ukraine war. Russia and Iran bypass sanctions and Russia supplied Iran with SU 35 , Yak 130 and grant them technology transfer including right to produce locally.
Practical lesson
Indian would have turned Pakistan to Lebanon or Gaza when it deployed more than 50 fighter jets against Pakistan. Pakistan responded with equal numbers of fighter jets, totalling 125 fighter jets in the sky. The largest dog fights in human history. Non of the fighter jets could cross to the enemy's territory.
Lesson for Nigeria
When bokoharam Started, Nigerian airforce was at zero level. Nigerian army solely relied on second generation Alfa jet that is no longer in production and no spare parts available. University of Maiduguri was the one fabricating spare parts to refit the obsolete Alfa jet.
Bokoharam was able to overrun Nigerian army and killed thousands. Thanks to Buhari that raised the bar of Nigerian air force.
The modern world is survival of the fittest. If you don't equip your army, you will be killed and roasted. Wait biodun, are u telling me that Iran has made up.thier mind that dey will not retaliate again? But this is not what u said early this year now . Abi u Don finally gba fun oga e ni? |

Foreign Affairs › Re: How Can 20 Million Black Slaves In Arabia Just Disappear From History? by Originality007: 10:56am On Apr 06, 2025 |
bilms: How Can 20 Million Slaves in Arabia Just Disappear from History?
It’s a question that keeps haunting me.
Slavery in the Middle East didn’t end centuries ago—it persisted officially until the 1960s and 1970s in countries like Saudi Arabia, Yemen, and Oman.
An estimated 10 to 20 million Africans were trafficked across the Red Sea and Indian Ocean into Arab lands over the centuries—men, women, and children.
So here’s the question: Where are their descendants?
How can millions of people vanish without cultural recognition, political acknowledgement, or societal visibility?
Where are the monuments? The reparations? The museums? The national days of remembrance?
Unlike the Atlantic slave trade, which left behind visible Black populations in the Americas—where is the Afro presence in the Middle East?
Is this erasure deliberate? Is it driven by racism, denial, shame—or something else?
We need to talk about this. We need to ask why entire populations have been written out of history.
Because if 20 million Black lives can be forgotten once—what stops it from happening again?
Do you know about Afro-Iraqis, Afro-Iranians, or Afro-Saudis? Have you ever seen their stories reflected in mainstream narratives? Why is their history still hidden?
Let’s stop pretending this isn’t part of our collective past. Nice research, nobody ever think about this We only focus on the west.. |
