Okay @Orly! From the look of things, it seems the delay is general on most applications for now. A friend of mine that chose the Super-Priority option even got a day delay too. Since you've confirmed that the decision has been reached, you should hear from them anytime btw Monday and Tuesday. I'd advise you to inform the skool and make them understand the delay situation. Good luck!

What I want to know is if my case is peculiar or it's a general delay issue

I think it makes no sense going there for your passport without an email from them to come and pick up your passport.

I went there yesterday and they said they've not received the passport

I submitted my visa application on the 23rd of August, using the standard service and I am yet to receive an update from TLS. I called UKVI and they said a decision has been reached as regards my application. I am supposed to resume on the 24th September and I am anxiously waiting for my passport. Your case seems similar, have you gotten your visa?
