Sure if the need arises. But for this particular car, I do an upgrade due to the kind of problem, based on my research for a lasting solution.

I am seeing O/D drum/clutch, forward clutch and final drive there, and I know those aren't gonna be replaced. It is better to limit your contamination risk as much as you can in the first place.

Are you the one working on the transmission and exposing it to dirts like that?

Doesn't really matter coz these are burnt n bad fibres and are going to be replaced with new sets, I won't expose the new sets to dirts n it would still be washed properly b4 rebuilding the new transmission. Thanks for your concern.
