Damn!!!! Xiaomi deserves all the accolades man. This device is the bomb. I just got myself Redmi 5a 2/16gb and I must say I am loving every bit of it. With such performance for just 31k, I wonder how the likes of Note 5/Note 5 pro and the Mix series would be.

I got MIUI Global 9.1.6.0 out of the box, immediately after setup, I got an update for MIUI 9.5, but I didn't update cause my data is not up to 1.3gig...

Oga ur pic u posted is false. H+ can't give such speeds. Do u know wat that means, it literally means you can download 1gb within 3secs or to enlighten u better, it means you have downloaded 1 gb within a space of 15secs, now I ask on nairaland, who in Nigeria has ever downloaded at that speed... Pls not all u see is real. Even America struggle with speed of 18MBps... Not to talk of this shit hole... Abegi...

I heard it's going to have looks similar to Redmi Note 5 Pro (18:9 FHD display ratio) but with USB-C, fastcharge and of course pure android with no MIUI. Just rumors and speculations. No official statement yet.

One aspect I have realised from my Umidigi Z1 Pro vs Samsung Note 8......

A couple of places I usually frequent with very poor GSM signal on my Umidigi Z1 Pro, I visit the same places with my Samsung Note 8 and no network signal drop is experienced........

Transsion head office is in China , Schengen to be precise ! So don't you say it's a Nigerian company, this is one of the many lies you guys tell to hoodwink your victims into buying your rubbish

I didn't so anything to bring down the brand , transsion did by constantly cutting corners and making their low end cheap build quality handsets then marketing it with pizzazz to make sales

What angers me the most is you have the audacity to sell this rubbish phones here but not in China ?

Then you turn around and tell us market focus ?

Every brand from Samsung, Lenovo , HTC , Nokia, ZTE, Motorola, Apple , Xaomi, Oppo, freetel , and co all sell in their respective home countries why doesn't George Zhu the Chinese CEO of transsion sell in China ?

Let me tell you why because he knows the phones they make are rubbish and will not meet acceptable standards in China hence they won't be allowed to be sold there.

Why didn't Google go-ahead and do their device launch with transsion despite transsion having been selling phones in Nigeria for over 12 years ?

Because all the sample devices they submitted to Google failed all Google quality tests this is why Google went ahead and instead signed with ICe2 and freetel from Japan to sell devices cheaply to nigerians.

Instead of tell them to stop selling rubbish you are attacking me because of cheap allowance they pay you
