Hey, I have trained in both boxing and kickboxing, and honestly, I did not notice a huge difference between the gloves for each sport. For general training, standard boxing gloves work just fine. However, if you want something specifically for kickboxing, I would check fightgear because they have gloves suitable for both sports and they are comfortable, durable, and safe for striking and sparring.
