I dnt really understand wat AAU is doing, I scored 221 in jamb and was giving 37% I don't how that score came up,although I used two sitting @ least I wld av gotten fourty something,now am seeing 37%,a friend of mine had 182 and was given 50% ,so I don't really understand, all I know is am gaining admission this year by the grace of God

Am still of the opinion that the points are just mere formilities, it's not going to determine the admission

Based on my calculations ....... the only way you could have scored 64 even with a combined result is if you have 3 A's and 2 B's with the results.......... ... 279 divided by 8 =35. + 3 for combined result...... 38...... 3 A's= 18. 2 B's =8 .......... so total points.

Jasson's permutations were correct cos if the point system was actually used i should'nt have gotten 64 but a lesser score giving the fact that I used a combined result. Twas only our utme scores that where used

I WOULD'NT DISTURB MYSELF BY THESE FLOPPY SCORES AAU GAVE COS THEY CAN'T DEFEND WHAT THEY JUST DID. ITS JUST TO JUSTIFY THE ALMOST 6K THEY COLLECTED FROM US... school requirement in what sense? did the school conduct any exam for you? the only thing the schools are to do is to verify your credentials, if you are found to have falsified any of your credentials then you are considered to have failed the screening.

It means you are below the cut -off for mbbs based on merit ( i don't know if catchment and ELDs list has been released ). the implication of this is you are either transferred to other school with a short fall for medicine, or you are transferred to another department. however, one thing is sure; with your score you will be admitted but it might not be your preferred school or course of choice. hope av been able to answer your question? best of luck dear!
