Happy sunday peeps. I joined Nairaland specifically because of this insightful forum. I have obtained my form I-20 already and I want to pay the SEVIS fee. I do not know how to go about this and I don't have anyone in the US to help with the payment. Well meaning fellows like walspring and Oludare please help me out. My email address is bisyosinuga@gmail.com. Thank you. |
Hello House Please I need more clarification on SEVIS payment information. I just got my I-20 from my school University of Iowa and I really do not know how to go about the payment. Kindhearted members like walspring and Oludare I need your help. |
Good day all, I stumbled upon this thread by happenstance and I felt a bit sad that I could have done better at the whole process if I had received quality advise from experienced members of the house. However, all is not lost. I applied for PhD in Environmental HEalth in 9 schools in the US to increase my chaances of securing funding. So far, I've received 2 acceptances but unfortunately without funding. The first one is from University of Iowa and my advisor there is quite sympathetic and a perfect match for my research interest, however she would not have another grant till march next year. So she advised me to defer till fall 2018. I have tried talking to the graduate coordinator about GAa/RAs/TAs but unfortunately none is available for me. My stats are: GRE :306, TOefl: 105, Undergrad GPA:3.3 MPH(masters) GPA: 3.75. The other. School is University of Oklahoma. Same thing preferred advisor does not av funding and no assistanship position also. I have not gotten any response from the remaining schools but hopefully I will get a funded program. The wait is just so excruciating but one has no choice. |
