Afternic still cancels sales if the buyer is probably not ready to wait. This was the second of such sales that was cancelled within a period of 2-3 months last year. I have since increased the price of the other domain.

The name originally sold at Afternic for $1488 BIN back in December - 20 days after registration. However, the sale was cancelled due to the 60-day transfer lock.

Last night, I saw an offer of $795 on a BIN of about $1374 - I usually reduce prices at Spaceship. I countered with $1200 and the buyer accepted in matter of minutes. His payment was confirmed this morning.

Of course, I already had plans to increase the price at renewal (or when I just feel like).

PROPOSITION: Domain Co-ownership

It is now a fact that domain business is a number game. In other words, the size of your portfolio largely determines, at the end of the day, the rate of domain sales you will be getting on a regular basis provided you've got good names.

For this reason, I want to propose a domain group of not more than 10 people who will contribute—equally—together to co-own domains.

How do I mean?

If you have 10 Dolls, as an instance, at 5 Dolls, domain pr0m0 rate, you will only be able to get 2 domains. But in a group of 10 people with 10 Dolls each will co-own 20 domains in an instant.

Intuitively, as a member of the group, in just a little time, you will be the proud owner of 20 domains with just your 10 Dolls that can only get 2 domains.

That also shows that if the group now has 6,240 domains (as projected by me for 5 years based on atleast 1 domain sale per month at 25% broughtback from each member profit shared), it equally means you own 6,240 domains, too, which would have literally cost 46.6M if any one person tries to own such portfolio.

Notably, this proposition DRASTICALLY reduces the burden of renewal cost, as renewal cost is being equally shared by the group.

Of course, chances of getting domain sales increases as the group portfolio increases on a monthly basis. However, PROFIT is shared between the 10 members of the group.

IN A NUTSHELL...

👉If the group owns 1,000 domains, 10% of it (100 domains) will be in each members Afternic account to mitigate risk of co-ownership palava.

👉Once a sale comes in, the member with the domain receives the fund and share it equally after marketplace commission.
📌2k (minimum pricing of group domain) will be shared 200 Dolls each.
📌5k will be shared 500 Dolls each and so on.

👉Of Course, each member can own his own personal domains separately.

👉Any or all members of the group can share any domain sale from the group in any platform provided the person states that the sale is co-owned by him and some group members.

👉Each member is mandated to register 3 domains on a monthly basis for the group, either the registration is done at once or at different timing within the space of 30 days.

👉Each domain to be registered in the group by any member MUST be scrutinized and accepted by the group before the registration is done.

👉Group name is Joint Domain Partnership (JDP).

👉 JDP will only focus on INBOUND DOMAINS, which can be BRANDABLE or EMD domains only.

Note, once 10 people show up, the group closes FOREVER.

Good evening, Abeg for those using daaz Landers for outbound, is it advisable to use daaz Landers currently?

I have been playing around the site and the user experience I'm getting is very far from satisfactory. No live chat. Plenty muddled up write ups. When you click a domain name using their Landers, it takes some time before it resolves, it would rather be showing you daaz before eventually displaying the domain name. Unlike what you see on Spaceship, GoDaddy and the rest.

Please anyone who used them recently, what's your experience/ review with / on them? Did it convert to a sale? May daaz God forbid no go put sand sand for people garri.

I had a $100 sale from daaz this month. Their elegant and classic center lander, is very nice. I use the two, but the issue of delay in loading is a big problem and may turn off potential buyer. Someone has complained about it on their twitter handle, I have complained to their customers service too about the error. Let's keep complaining to them, till they fix it. To be frank, their current new design lander is better than Spaceship lander.

the company has taken the best extention of the name (Co. UK) anyway, you can hold it for inbound sales, if trademarked. Honestly, you didn't do your research well before registering. Making a sale(s) from a portfolio of 50 is simply a mercy from God supported through rigorous outbound messages.

If you want to sit and enjoy domaining, you need numbers.

numbers is the koko! But most domainers don't know the secret you can't just sit on few names and expect constant sales.
