bestfutboltips:
Op, nice write up, could make for an article at any Nigerian sport newspaper. However, I beg to disagree with you on the following points:

David Moyes Was Technically Good But Lacked Personality
Moyes was handpicked by Sir Alex Ferguson, a mistake enhanced by nepotism. Most Manchester United fans condemned his appointment and rightly so because he lacked the personality to manage a big club like United. Even the players he managed at United felt these same way and disregarded his approach and method at the club. Moyes failed because he didn't stamp his authority and curtail the egocentric players, and as well his ill-fated comments that only provoked the fans. Unlike Moyes, Louis Van Gaal stamped authority, dealt with egocentric players and always presented United as the biggest club to the delight of the fans. On pitch, Moyes is blessed with techniques just ask Everton and more recently Real Sociedad fans hence technique is not the appropriate to describe Moyes failure at United.

Manchester United does not need Centre Backs (CB's)
United currently have good CB's which will only get better as the play together, the challenge is just the proper combination. Smalling is probably the fastest CB in the premier league, Smalling reminds me of Ferdinand when he was younger. Unlike Ferdinand, Smalling is not too comfortable with the ball on his feet, a perquisites in possession based formation, yet last season we saw he can learn and improved in that aspect so he deserves one the starring spots in the starting eleven.

To be continued....
Smalling showed he has the zeal to learn and improve, but you will agree with me that and experienced CB will not out of place

Everybody is saying we should sign a proven world class defender. Please mention one to me who is available at a reasonable price.

And don't tell me Otamendi because he's not world class. No need wasting money if you're not getting an upgrade.
Otamendi is not an upgrade to Jones? Or Evans? Or smalling?......u gotta be kidding

Am not writing Depay off, buh u all know dat 1st syndrom with new players,so we won't do well by relying solely on him. I wouldn't say RVP shouldn't have been sold, buh I will say a new striker should have been bought. Blind could excel in d new role, I think d gamble will worth it, buh I still say a new CB is needed is needed badly

United are in a different situation, it was the same wenger that took arsenal to the peak that was still in charge throughout the 8barren years. United is evolving from a 25years Fergie era. So it's a different thing entirely plus Gills lefts at the same time as Fergie
Sports / Manchester United Transfer Heroics Turning To Vanity by oshorlabyC(m): 8:53am On Aug 01, 2015
When Sir Ferguson retired as the coach of the arguably most famous club on planet earth, many fans thought the glorious days will simply continue and everything goes rosy as before, but some in-thinking fans knew all was not well, not just because a low end manager in Moyes was chosen to take over from the legendary Sir Alex but because Moyes doesn't have the technical skills to use an average united team to success as Fergie has done. You will agree with me that the united team that won the 20th league title to finally knock the scousers off the perch is an ant to the giant of the treble winning team of 1999 bar Van persie's heroics. So the first step in the wong direction in appointing a complete outsider to succeed fergie who himself did no good by not retaining any if fergie's staffs. (that's a discussion for another day).
Down the line, 3yrs after, United's trophy cabinet is surely getting dusty and all the philosophy master keeps telling us is lecture on the usage of the proposition "shall". Autocratic as he might sound, he seems to have gotten it right this summer transfer window with him and Ed providing solution to what have seem to be United's negative since the days of Roy Keane, the defensive Mieldfied position seems sorted with the acquisition of Morgan Schneiderlin who to me is the best bit of business United has done since R.V.P's capture (forget Depay, he needs 2years to settle down). Morgan's transfer ticks a lot of boxes in United's midfield that could go on to be the best midfield united has for years. As delighted as it may seem, with Darmain capture, depay's transfer, a good back-up in Bastain, if United fails to get a Proven Central defender, a prolific striker (cos I don't belong to the school of thought that this is Rooney's season, his time is way gone, dude is living on past glory) and make De Gea sign a new contract, then all those transfer brilliance and heroics of Ed Woodward might as well go down the drain. Jones and Smalling has forever failed to show the intent, Evans is a forgone issue, Blacket and Mc Nair ar no show,United can only point to Rojo and a make shift Daley Blind. LVG said he always want a left footed player as one of his centre backs (technically understandable), it would only be stupid enough for him to pair two left footed players at the back, so the need to sign a proven and experienced CB. As hard as it may look, De Gea renewing his contract will go down as the best piece of business Woodward can do because the natural successor that could have have been the ideal is Peter Cech, but United for whatever reason failed to look in his direction.
Di Maria might be leaving and Pedro or Gaitan might have been lined up as his replacement, fine. But if United fails to sort out the issue of a CB, a 9 and De Gea, then the best could again be a fourth place finish or worse.

I'm currently in 400L ,Electrical and Electronics engineering. I'm currently doing my 6 months I.T program.I initially did it at coca-cola (benin plant),i later discovered i don't have much flare for Machines and Industrial works,so lately i switched to a privately owned company that deals with building and sale of inverters ,as well as solar power systems(anything electronics sha), this i've gained alot from and have alot of interest in.When i resumed back to school,i'm planning to go for either the Computer/Control or the Electronics and Telecomms option. I'm kindda stucked inn between the two. Also, i feel i should start doing somethings on my final year project as early as possible, i'm also stucked on which topic to go for. Pls kindly give me some personal advice. thanks

Islam for Muslims / Re: Islam And Acceptance Of Interest In Trade by oshorlabyC(m): 6:56pm On Dec 19, 2013
hakeemta: As Salam Alaykum Warahmatullah Wabarakatuhu!

To start with, I must commend you all for the great contributions made. May Allah increase us in knowledge and understanding, uplift us in Eeman and ease the good deeds for us all. Amin.

This issue has really called for great concern and thorough research. I remember sometimes back, a friend was afraid to take up a bank job just because of the uncertainty we have in the interpretation of the same verse.

My conclusion is that, we would need meet the Scholars of Tafsir(of the Holy Qur'an). We may not have to judge with the common sense or the situations around. I pray to Allah to make things easy for us, guide us and forgive us our wrongs. Amin.

I pray to Allah to forgive me in anyway I might have said wrong. Amin.

As Salam Alaykum.
If we take profit making to be profit making, and interest making to be,and we don't mingle the two together,I think the issue will be easier to analyze. Wa alaykum salam
Islam for Muslims / Re: Islam And Acceptance Of Interest In Trade by oshorlabyC(m): 6:50pm On Dec 19, 2013
This issue is really generating more discrepancies than I expected. The fact still remains that no matter the percentage of the interest, small, mid, or large,Allah(SWT) forbids it for we muslim umuah. I also want to make a point here that, there's a big difference between "Profit making" and "Interest taking", they are two different scenerios.Allah does not forbid profit making (shouldn't be too large ) in businesses. This kind of issue (interest taking),you'll agree with me can never come up in a sharia community like saudi arabia because they practice Islam to the core.I want to believe that it's the situation we find ourself in this country that's making us give different interpretations to that verse.
Salam.

Peace upon you dear OP.

On your question: The idea that the Quran forbids interests is a misconception and a terrible one at that. The word RIBAA as used in the
Quran does not mean just any interest, and often, it's been mistranslated as such just like in the translation you have above. Ribaa means
USURY(excessive interests or interests compounded over and over). Ribaa(Usury) was a common practice during the time of the prophet
Muhammad, where the rich used it to further enrich themselves while enslaving the poor. Here are two verses from the Quran that makes
clear the point i am trying to make:

Usury Prohibited

[Quran 2:275] Those who charge usury are in the same position as those controlled by the devil's influence. This is because they claim that usury is the same as commerce. However, GOD permits commerce, and prohibits usury. Thus, whoever heeds this commandment from his Lord, and refrains from usury, he may keep his past earnings, and his judgment rests with GOD. As for those who persist in usury, they incur Hell, wherein they abide forever.

[Quran 3:130] O you who believe, you shall not take usury, COMPOUNDED over and over. Observe GOD, that you may succeed.

It is an established economic principle that excessive interest on loans can utterly destroy a whole country. During the last few years we have witnessed the devastation of the economies of many nations where excessive interest is charged. Normal interest - less than 20% - where no one is victimized and everyone is satisfied, is not usury.

Interest on bank deposits and interest charged on loans are lawful if they are not excessive (5-15%). Banks invest and their profits are passed on to the depositors. Since all parties are happy and no one is victimized, it is perfectly lawful to take interest from the bank.

There're many more verses clarifying this issue, but the above should give you a clear picture of the point i have made. We need to study
the Quran carefully in order to be able to maximize its application. It is much more than a hymn book to be sung without understanding.

Peace!!

Let me ask u sincerely that if u are offered a bank job now (let's say u don't have any job at hand),will u accept the job offer?

Islam for Muslims / Islam And Acceptance Of Interest In Trade by oshorlabyC(m): 7:39am On Dec 19, 2013
In Q2 v 275 ,Allah says : "Those who consume interests cannot stand on the day of resurrection except as one stands as being beaten by satan into insanity.............
My question now is ; Does that verse affects muslims working in banks? Because definitely,we all know banking is all about interest (except some Islamic banks of course). Please I need knowledged views on the issue. Jazakumullahu khairan as u comment
