Honestly speaking the cost of living in Nigeria it is alarming! very much disturbing and the most painful thing now is that constructive criticism lands people in jail... God... like I am literally not married and my basic salary is not enough for me! Feeding, transport, family problems I don't want to talk about clothing and outfits because my fashion style is basically on okrika even though I am happy with that... Apparently, the pains and agony is excruciating and obvious! The government are not doing enough and not thinking about the common man on the street rather how to steal and enrich themselves.

It is imperative now that voting and electing good leaders is not certain because losers force themselves into power! People are suffering, parents are going crazy with bills. Tell me how can an average Nigerian family of 6 with basically 400-500k total income survive if two or three of their children are in the university or high institution? Can that money be enough for even two people if they are to live in a moderate and average income? Moreso, many family of 6 lives way too below that income. ‎Unlike professional propagandists who thrive on division, Marcus Onobun has consistently focused on service, development and empowerment. I would have recorded this session and post it, for better understanding. The Will of God is the real deal. Yesterday evening , i got a call from a well respected Man Of God , whom I once served and we got talking about life, death, and the Will of God, and he schooled me about the Will of God.

Many a times, we have been bothered about life and its expectations. We are hard pressed on every side, we think of what to eat, wear, drive, how to provide for family, marriage, no house to live in, the future is looking bleak, no economic assurance, no financial investments, etc. One thing is Shocking: We seem to forget where we were before now. I use to live in the village , it was my gestation period for something great, and I once saw that as a punishment. Until God opened my eyes to see the beauty of where he's taking me to.

The Will of God is not convenient, at first it looks like you are a failure. During this stage, you will be pruned, you will be abandoned , left to suffer and die , left to face shame , left to fallow as you regain lost nutrient. This is God taking you through wilderness experience, as you pass through the blade of hell razor. Psalms 23 has become my favourite succour, my go-to guy. One thing is sure, God will NOT abandon you. When you pass through fire , storm, pain, embarrassments, crises, he is with you. Oh Yes, he is there , watching every move of yours.

To Travel Abroad is very good, It is part of the plan. On many occasions, I have tried to leave Nigeria on a permanent basis, but no avail. I have come to realise that if it is not God's will , The Selfish Love he has for me will NOT permit me to move out of his will, because what is outside can be inimical to his plan for me. I am not downplaying the sweetness of the Dollar and Euros, I need it for growth too. For me, God MUST approve it. I am still begging him to help me leave Nigeria.

I have seen people travel abroad and die at the height of their progress. I have seen people who were living fine in Nigeria , travel abroad and suddenly become jobless and broke. I learnt my lessons by staying in God's will. This doesn't confirm that I become useless , lazy , and unambitious. I still press towards the prize of the Higher calling and personal achievements. But one thing is sure for me, I must stay in God's will, which is the real deal for me. My Prayer point for you is , God let your will be done in my life. Amen.

After my graduation, I came back to Benin to start working as a Chemistry Teacher at Paulson foundation school at Idokpa. Later I left for Umagbae secondary school as a Basic science teacher. I later left for Lagos for greener pastures , where I was living with my Elder brother, later I went to Ondo for my NYSC. I was elected as the CDS president of my group.

Upon my return, I got a job offer from Iyamho-Uzairue , to become an Education aide to the community. I did that for some years. I made great impacts working there..I supported my students to register for Waec, neco and Jamb examinations. I later resigned and returned back to Benin City, through the help of my Cousin, Pharm. Mercy Ogbeifun, I got a lecturing job with Igbinedion College of Health Science and Technology. I worked for about 2 years , where I was a pioneer lecturer of Mathematics, Statistics, Microbiology courses and practical. I made great impacts there , until i resigned and got another better offer elsewhere, which I will keep very private.

I am a Graduate of Microbiology, Ambrose Alli University, I also have a Post graduate diploma from Uniport (4.20), Masters in educational psychology G&C, NOUN (3.78). I also did my Graduate course in Theology, under Redeemed Christian Church of God, Nigeria.

Letter of Complaints to the Governor of Edo State, against the Inordinate ambition of Hon. Lucky Eseigbe

The Government of Edo State, under the able Leadership of Senator Monday Okpebholo, having assumed office have been saddled with key responsibilities such as policy implementation, Security, Effective Governance, Management of Resources, discipline , and Due process.

It has come to our notice that Mr. Lucky Eseigbe, who happens to be the Honorable Commissioner for Physical planning and Urban development , who is supposed to be projecting the SHINE agenda of The Governor is going about seeking for personal ambition, using the instrumentality of his Office to achieving such an irresponsible act.

Dear Hon. Lucky Eseigbe, kindly permit me to use this medium to school you about your job description.

Your Job description as a Commissioner for Physical Planning & Urban Development is to be the Head of the state agency, responsible for overseeing land use, urban growth, and sustainable development. You are to guide policy formulation, implementation, and monitoring to ensure orderly, inclusive, and environmentally sound urbanisation. Your major job descrition is to implement Policy & Strategy, which entails Draft, review, and update the State/Regional Physical Development Plan, Urban Master Plan, and zoning regulations. You are also involved in Planning & Approval: You either approve or reject development applications, building permits, and subdivision proposals. You are also to Conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and enforce compliance with building codes.

Furthermore, you are also tasked with Reporting & giving Accountability to the Government which entails periodic performance reports to the Governor/State Executive Council and the National Planning Commission, in a bid to Ensure transparency and compliance with anti‑corruption statutes.

Mr Governor Sir, We have been worried that your Commissioner have not been spending ample time to carry his key functions to the State, as stated above , but have resorted into looking for a needle in a haystack for campaigning for an Office when the Officer is still yet in acting service. This is an aberration to due process, a behaviour non compos mentis, an irresponsible poise, a reckless Misdemeanor.

Mr Commissioner, if you think that the commissioner position is too small or beneath your standard, you are at Liberty to tender your resignation within 30 days , and allow the Governor to use his discretion to appoint someone who is willing to carry out the shine agenda of the governor whilst you pursue your inordinate and uncoordinated ambition.

Mr Governor Sir, Let it be put on further inference, that Your Commissioner is bringing your Government into shame and disrepute. The sages are not pleased with this act. We urge you to call him to order , to prevent more embarrassment.

Where there is multitude of counsellors, there is safety. This is a lie, and I will prove it. It has become a abnormal norm for every drunkard and hemp user to become an emergency adviser on social media , especially when it comes to sensitive issues like marriage. I have taken my time to rate men by their words, and by the Spirit they command. Many are just paper weight, no substance, just chaff and negligible weight. Do you know that the best part of your personality is your words? The greatest gift given to us naturally by God is the ability to talk and decipher. That’s because your words are your person; your words are you. The character of your words is the character of your personality. You’re not different from your words. If your spirit is excellent, your words will be, but If your spirit is Polluted, your words shall become poison.

There are many folks who have once advised me on issues , when I weighed and followed the leading of the Holy Spirit, their counsel became a nuisance , so i dumped them into the lavatory. The spirit of Delilah lives on Social media, whose job description is to bring down people , using subtle skills of rendering counsel and giving fake life to a dying soul. There are fallen heroes on social media who are bent on taking others to the pit of misfortune, but act like they care for you. They don't actually. There is this fellow, who is from Uranus, Central Kenya , who stole her Best friend's husband and got pregnant for him, leading to the breaking of that Wonderful Marriage , now Supporting Kelvin for sleeping with The Wife's Best friend. I nurse a fear, and it is for marriages. I am begging those who are married, please dont take counsel from such a lady. Apostle paul enjoined us to mark them, and disassociate from such who is capable of creating issues for us (Romans 16:17). This same Elohor is the Venom , whilst Kelvin is the Snake. Both of them are not fit to be called humans.

Always vet your advisers ! Proofread every word they sow as seed into your Spirit. If that seed is corrupt, it will destroy your Soul. No married woman should allow her husband free access to the bevy of her single Friends, don't discuss details of your marriage to them. Let your friendship be controlled and mild, detach from them stealthily. Many of them are admiring your husband. Also , give your husband alot of Good Sex , Good food and Honour: That trio has a way of winning a man's heart. In the midst of counsellors, there lies foolish ones. Even David once had Ahithofel.

Teaching is a useless profession in an unfriendly economy.

A Teacher is a Professional , whose job description is to mentor, inspire , pass information and instruction , motivate , Counsel, discipline, and mentor a growing mind (Oshoriah, 2020). Teaching is a life long profession that tends to the mental needs of others. It is a job thay requires alot of patience and sacrifice, because it deals with human lives and destiny. A teacher must be creative enough to sharpen the cognitive blade of her students, which is a very demanding one. Often times , you overstretch yourself beyond your tensile strength. Yet these special workers are treated like garbage dump.

In times of economic austerity, I expect Government across various strata to improve the standard of living for teachers, especially those in the hinterlands. Government should increase the renumeration package for teachers and clear the backlog of pension and gratuities. How can my Mother inlaw celebrate Teachers day in Happiness, when Edo State Government have refused to pay her gratuity . Many Teachers live from hand to mouth , many don't even dress well due to the meagre salary they earn.

I humbly implore our State and Federal law makers to provide legislation that will support Teacher's growth, provision of housing and car loans, Provision of grants to selected Teachers who have distinguished themselves, to take up Post Graduate programmes, Increment of salary and provision of incentives to Teachers who live in rural areas, Teachers should be supported in the areas of learning latest Educational Technology and skills from 1st World countries like China, Japan, UK, Canada, America and Europe. Government should also provide adequate insurance and Life assurance schemes for teachers. Government should also provide Principals and Head of schools the right funding to run a School.

Despite the challenges they face, educators are advised to often find creative ways to adapt and survive in such a Hostile system. Take up profitable courses and convert them into economic means of making money. Look for ways to get into lecturing , apply for international teaching jobs (Online), Open a Lesson center and later convert it into a school.

On a serious note, What do you think is the most pressing issue facing Teacher's welfare today?

Documents are necessary papers needed to get to the next level,which is usually Zenith. If you want to climb, It is very needed as a prerequisite for the present position and for the next. I have met people who once missed greater opportunities because they lacked vital Documents. We can draw the relevance of Documents right from Biblical days. Apostle Paul needed paper approval from the high priests of Damascus to persecute the Christians in Antioch. Elder Joseph of Arimathea obtained Documents from Authorities in order to Bury Jesus in a tomb, and many others. Documents gives you access to get what you want.

Before you gain admission into high school, it is expected of you to submit your P.S.L.C certificate. Before you enter Senior school, you must submit J.S.C.E certificate. Before you enter College, you are to submit Your W.a.e.c, J.a.m.b, N.I.N, Local government of origin, Birth certificate, etc, In order to support your chances of gaining admission. Before you get that choice job and contract, you must submit vital documents, which gives you an edge over others. Even before you migrate to other countries, you must also submit key documents, or else you won't scale through the rigorous hurdles of interview and documentation.

During Church wedding , you are issued a Marriage Certificate, which confirms you are married to your spouse. This is a legal document that provides the authentic proof that you are married. When you get a job, you are given a letter of employment. Even when a man dies , a death certificate is issued. Anything on black and white is honoured , as it is capable of changing ones life for either good or bad.

As a Young mind, it is very important to gather your Documents, for future opportunities. No door opens to you , till you have the Key--- documents. I find it annoying when I see an adult , who live in an Urban area not having documents. No Certificate, no skill, no Experience, no paper , no International passport, no NIN, just phone, body organs, eye lashes, earpod, and hair. I have seen a full grown adult who came to apply for a job, and not having an ordinary certificate.

I wasn't born with a Silver Spoon, I hustled hard to get to where I am , through the help of Jesus Christ, My Parents , and Destiny Helpers. I was able to acquire vital documents, gathered Essential Knowledge and possession of three sound academic certificates , up to Masters Levels. Till date, I am still gathering documents, because I believe in the beauty of my tomorrow.

Why waste your youthfulness on frivolous things? Please invest in personal development , your future is bright, Take professional courses, Your age is your advantage, Your time is ticking , there is no time. Take your chances. Skill up, go back to take a Degree course (Not HND), Masters or PhD, or Post doctorate. Take advantage of your time! You don't have much of it.

As a man from a poor background struggling day and night trying to make ends meet in his early youth age is there any chances he can one day get to marry a wealthy lady in the future unexpectedly.

I have problem keeping a serious and committed relationship.

I always found myself keeping multiple partners & still maintain contact with some of my exes which add to the pool of women in my circle. I find it difficult to detach from them.

This really drains me emotionally and financially as I could get several demands from these ladies at the same time and it really stressed me. Moreover, age is no longer on my side.

I recall a lecturer from my department who took pleasure in seeing students suffer and cry. He was feared by many, and his actions were detrimental to the students' well-being. It's unfortunate that some lecturers prioritize frustrating students over mentoring and supporting them.

However, I want to remind you that no lecturer can determine your destiny. Graduating with a 2.2 or third-class degree is not the end of the world. You can pursue a postgraduate diploma and later a master's program in another institution. Your worth and potential are not defined by your certificate or academic performance. It is determined by Grace, Hard work, dedication, consistency, Skills, building solid Relationship, integrity and Prayers.

Many successful individuals have achieved greatness without formal education or with poor academic records. The role of a teacher is to motivate, mentor, encourage, instruct, support, and inspire learners, not to oppress or frustrate them.

I was fortunate to have Prof. Mrs. G. Okwu, who quoted 2 Timothy 1:7 to me during my academic struggles: "For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." This admonition has stayed with me to this day. I am no longer afraid of the wickedness of men or fear of failure. Jesus has helped me grow to full stature of his grace.

Many students who were once struggling have gone on to achieve great things, and some have even surpassed their lecturers in success. It's essential to remember that your life is in God's hands, and He can change your circumstances for the best.

To lecturers who have been frustrating students, I urge you to change your approach. Repent while you can. Jesus is calling you to Love your Students. Be their mentors, and let your students excel under your guidance. When they fail, it should be your fault, it must bother you. The law of karma and retribution will catch up with you, and it's essential to treat others with kindness and compassion. You have children too.

I pray that God blesses and satisfies everyone who has passed through the wickedness of these lecturers.

RE: DISCLAIMER ON ALLEGED CULT-RELATED ISSUES IN IRUEKPEN

My attention has been drawn to some unfounded and malicious rumours being circulated across various quarters, both online and offline, alleging my involvement or association with cult-related activities in Iruekpen. I, Rt. Hon. Marcus Onobun, honorable member, representing Esan West, Esan Central and Igueben Federal constituency categorically and unequivocally refute claims of any such association or involvement.

1. For the avoidance of doubt, I am not directly or indirectly involved in cultism nor have I ever supported, encouraged, financed, or participated in any activity that promotes it in any form whatsoever.

2. These allegations are not only false and baseless and unfounded but they also appear to be politically motivated, attempts to tarnish my hard-earned reputation, distract from the developmental strides we are making, and undermine the trust and confidence the good people of Iruekpen and beyond have reposed in me.

3. The last time I was in Edo state was in April 22nd, 2025. What I can deduce from this allegation is to lay a foundation for their wicked and clandestine plan to silence the opposition.

4. I am a firm believer in the rule of law, democratic principles, and peaceful co-existence. Throughout my public service career, as erstwhile Speaker of the Edo state house of Assembly, I have championed initiatives aimed at empowering our youth through education, skills acquisition, mentorship, and community development—initiatives that are fundamentally at odds with the menace of cultism and social vices.

5. Let it be on record that from reliable sources, I am informed that the clash arose between two(2) indigenes of Iruekpen community at a brothel within the cattle market and not any where close to my residence.

6. The security and safety of our people tops my priorities as a federal lawmaker, as no development sees the light of the day in an unsafe environment, thus, the recently commissioned Police station in Iruekpen community.

7. I call on the media and the general public to exercise due diligence and verify fact before spreading information capable of causing panic and reputation damage.

8. To those behind these malicious fabrications, I urge you to desist from the politics of character assassination. Our community deserves leaders and citizens who promote unity, progress, and constructive dialogue not divisiveness and falsehood.

9. I remain committed to the service of my people and to the peace, growth, and development of Iruekpen as my immediate community and the entire federal constituency at large. No amount of smear campaigns will deter me from fulfilling my mandate and standing for truth, justice, and good governance.
