gregswagzz: it doesnt get hot...anyways am using a pouch dt cmes wif it...wif foam allover so it prwvents it from hotness,shock and hard fall,battery is awsum...even though i was worried about it at first,it turned out to be great,i play games like hell,and it has never shut me out wen playin one instead i get tired#but u can also order a POWER BANK from dis great guy...quality beats all...no battry is non removable#

biggboy: just wana review this tab in bried. BATTERY; its my best part, better x 2 than my previous star w450. U can get more than a day on light usage (whatsapp,BBM, call) and 8 whooping hours on hard usage( gaming, videos, browsing on 3G). GAMING; I played pes 2012, FL commando, bladeslinger, temple run oz on this tab they all run smoothly without a single lag. CONNECTIVITY; this tab uses two sim both supporting HSDPA (3.75G) network, OTG, and earphone plug. CAMERA; the camera is poor indoor but very good outside with the aid of the sun. The flash is too poor. MEMORY; this tab has 1GB ram and 8GB rom. It also support uptp 32GB micro sdcard, I used mine. Overall if you are looking for the best budget tab then this tab has no rival, its even cheaper than phone with similar specs. N.B ; all what I said up there was not influenced by Mr lukmon, Thanks. adoptop70: What u said is absolute truth, I'm using m5 also, when i compared my infinix x400 picture taken in the afternoon with the picture of m5 infinix has more details with good colour, the only different is m5 picture brighter but blur , the good thing about this m5 is the 1Gig RAM it makes the phone very very responsive

I don't hate techno,i opened this topic just to inform those going for tecno m5 to know what they should expect,my first android was techno n3, after using it for close to a year, I decided to upgrade to a 1gbram fone, while waiting for m5, I bought gionee p2, which opened my eyes to what a quality phone looks like.I sold my p2 added some cash, then zoomed off to get the m5, chai I was totally disappointed with what I saw.the funniest part be say I come enter m5 thread, and complained to them, come see as those guys want chop me raw, I jejely ignored them.anyways, i have sold the m5, and now enjoying gionee p2, even though na 512ram, I go manage am

2.1gb ram +1gb internal memry +1.3ghzdual core processor which is good for gaming
3.no software update available
4.poor camera: although they claim the camera is 8mp but the quality is bad compared to a real 8mp camera phone
5.still on the camera issue
the primary camera zone becomes hot while charging, especially while operating it.even when you are operating it, although, its a normal thing for phone to get warm while operating (plus charging). but this one own too much
6.poor display(4.5" TFT 260k color)
big for nothing screen, although the PPI is ok, the screen is poor for my liking.another reason for the phone to heat up easily is due to the use of TFT display type
7.takes longer time to charge
I wonder why follow come charger will charge phone slow, it means you have to get a powerful charger
8.the battery life is OK but it will drain easily due to heating
for me this m5 na rubbish, think 2ce before buying, insults from techno fans are welcomed,

olahero: 2013 is their first year of producing TECNO Smartphones running on ANDROID and the times are still young for WE consumer to have the 90% of their best product, fact is that they really tried and and I commend their effort on making Smartphones of their product cheap like no others, first of their product N3 was sold until it was desapear in markets and please tell me, are you expecting non of thousands of it to have no fault? follow by their other products which rock every angle of Nigeria, @Op, i had read a post like this on Samsung S4 here on NL so tackle the probe by urself.

what determines d clarity of a display screen is d PPI...d number of colours its capable of displaying only tells how real images would appear on it.

u can do ur research if u object.

dnt get me wrong,if u dey drive molue b4 nd u suddenly change to Volkswagen 'beetle' ,u go feel d difference,anyone dt port frm gionee p2 to ds m5 will undztnd better

tot dz fone supports otg, anyways porting from gionee p2 to diz fone strange o. chai 16M color to dz 260k color na yawa but m now used to it,man Don adapt but if I ave my way ehn I will port jejely back to my gionee p2
