Borntosmoke:He countered their $500 offer by offering an installment plan for his initial $900 asking price. After two (2) days of no response, he finally accepted their $500 offer, only to be ghosted by the marketing department up till that moment when he posted the post. Hope it's clearer now? |

Domainer1999:You can't transfer the domain out because it's still under the mandatory 60-day lock. And contrary to your assumption, Dan does have an account with Sav, so they can push. |

IamV: But how on earth could INEC certify reports that could not be linked to any LGA!? Is dis magomago or what? @IamV I wanna ask: How come you're observing and transmitting (by manually typing) these court proceedings to NL in real time everyday without you having BVAS, IREV, AWS, or ₦330 billion. Guy, how you dey run am? Maybe INEC can learn a thing or two from you. ![]() 3 Likes |

A. You see a fine domain name that you don't reg, but you inform end-user(s) that the name is available. This is fine and is called humanitarian work. ![]() Is it sustainable? No ![]() B. You see a fine domain name that you reg, and you inform end-user(s) that the name is available. This is why we're here and is called domain flipping/investment. Is it sustainable? If it weren't, we wouldn't be here! C. You see a "fine domain name" that you're not sure whether to reg or not, but you want to stylishly elicit interest from end-user(s) in hopes that someone will say "How much?" and you will sharperly go and reg the domain. This is desperate gambling, which is foolish for many reasons (some have been previously stated): i. Savvy end-users don't click links; they either type the domain into their browsers (to see whether it'll resolve) or visit GoDaddy (to see whether the domain is truly premium). ii. Listing domains you don't own on marketplaces is illegal and unethical. Put yourself in the shoes of a marketplace: would you want your reputation sullied by "yahoo domainers"? iii. How will end-users take us serious if this gambling becomes the norm? If you received a similar email and you discovered that the domain was actually available—the "marketer" was only trying to gauge your simple-mindedness—how would you feel? iv. How are you sure you'll even get a response? Legit outbound domainers know how difficult getting end-users to reply is; hence, basing one's strategy on gambling is unsustainable on the long run. v. What if after compiling emails (no easy work), outbounding to those emails (even harder), and following up on several occasions, an end-user expresses desire to "acquire your domain" and you scream "Voila!", only to find that "your domain" was registered yesterday by someone else (ED dey slow to update sometimes o)? Domains is this category should be merely watchlisted until you make up your mind to either reg or keep watching. Domaining is an ocean that no domainer can exhaust. So, why is difficult to just sit your ass down and try to learn the basics of this craft for long-term benefit? 10 Likes 1 Share |

YoobaNesan:Gambling this way is not sustainable and should never be encouraged! This is why it's essential to first learn how to reg names; otherwise, you end up frittering away valuable funds. |

Guys, I just had a modest sale at the Sav marketplace (Aiken//Motorcycle//com $75). HT: ~1 year (I had lost hope on the name before it eventually sold) I want to avoid wire transfer charges ($26), so I don't want to use my dom account. I cannot use Grey, too, as they don't support GBP payments outside the EU (Sav is in the US). Please, which payment platforms can you suggest for me to process this payout? Make una help me, abeg! 14 Likes

Can we please engage one another here without insulting (people's parents)? Disagreeing is allowed, but insults are highly unprofessional. Come on! Or is this how we should relate with end-users, too? ![]() ![]() ![]() Abeg, these insults are becoming nauseating and irritating! Let's put an end to it immediately. Na beg I beg o… 1 Like |
