For statement no. 2...hmmm...sorry to say...ASUU no go wan try am make dem no return...in Mr. President's speech, he said he wil shift to his plan B if his monday meeting with d ASUU chairman does nt bring an agreement...I bliv he may decide to take some risky steps, if he can relieve Prof. Ruqquayat Rufai of her duty, who is Dr. Nassir Fagge... The main point behind my analysis is dat...Mr. Presidnt is taking a decisn on nigeria varsities in 3days tym to d favour of d million studnts left standing for d past 4mths like a colony of eroded Zeugens... d Gov. Suswam led committee tried their best n raised some substantial amount, d 2nd committee led by Vice Pr. n Wike Nyesom (present Min. of Edu) brought a list a favourable agreement for ASUU, yet bros no dey gree...Mr. Pr. will lay some embargoes n thoz lecturers wil run back to work one by one...he may even disband ASUU...I pray ASUU won't lose all at end... rkarang: UI will definitely offer u admission! There's little or no WURUWURU for merit applicants in UI. UI doesn't even give a damn for its own 3yr -DIPLOMA.

UI had to dissolve its predegree programme because of this MERIT ish noni. Cos they spent 80 000plus; they wanted automatic admission, of course, why won't they? After all; if I were in their shoes, I would have have wanted that too. But the mgt was nt successful in doing that, so they had to dissolve the programme.

Today, UI has been successful in expanding its means of sourcing for FUND by diversifying its business activities. Now UI has; UI bread, UI pure water, Aquaculture and other subsidiaries.

Seems to me that FUNAAB is biting more than what it can chew. The sch has a very small capacity to accommodate students but it still insists on PRE-UNIVERSITIES programmes that will obviously reduce the chances of people that deserve merit.

NUC needs to see to that excesses in universities autonomy. It should only allow a separate entity to conduct all these PRE-UNIVERSITIES programmes so that our universities admission will be based on merit TO SOME EXTENT.

Habidab: Na for my eyes them take stamp my Transcript inside the registrar office.I enter the Senate buiding,I was even amazed the way they structure that building.
So far so gud,this is my O'Level result...ENG:C5,MATH:A1,BIO:B3,PHY:A1,CHEM:B3,ECON:C5,AGRIC:C6,GEO:C5,YORU:C4.
And moreover I had 4.56(Distinction) on the Scale of 5.00 in Agric Engr.(Polythecnic Ibadan).please help me check my composite if there is any error with what I calculated.
Though no cause for fear coz I know my name will be among successful candidate on their 2nd Batch and also awaiting UI to release/unveil their list.

rkarang: Bros, I saw FSP plus LOWER on a lady's slip and she was offered APH.

Besides, she told me that FSP(Foundation Science Programme) applicants were many.

Actually, I dunno when they started their programme but I learnt that it was a two-year programme.

But last yr, FSP II returned in October to continue their remaining programme sir.

Habidab: I will rather argue with your input @Osunstate,when it comes to O'level result I have A(s) in Physics and Mathematics, likewise B(s) in both Chemistry and Biology and C4s in other subject including English language,so I think the power is with the woman now.that's Nigerian education for you.

admission. She didn't
even want to listen to
me, but she behaved
arrogantly dat she didn't
want to hear anything
abt admission but my
greatest surprise was
that a woman who is
her friend came to her
abt her son who wasn't
admitted for direct
entry and she assured
her of the admission!

this is what I mean

Admission into Management Sciences Courses
Candidates are expected to posses credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and two other Social Sciences subjects from Geography, Accounts, Government, Business Studies and Commerce at not more than two (2) sittings.


There is no way I can have accounts, commerce, government with my sciences.

And In wondered when accounts and commerce became a social science subject like they placed on their website.

Concerning d admission list everybody just forecasting nobody knws when d list wil b out,i say ds cos av being calling some bonafide students that i knw very well in ui,and that can gv me real info concerning any info about ui,but these people let me knw that,they've make alot of verification concerning d admission list but nothing in reply,but let b hopeful,b4 ds month runz to an end..we shall laugh at last inshallah
