Poems For ReviewRe: Ode To Ileke-idi by OtehA(m): 11:37am On Feb 20, 2013
You capture your imagination well with letters.

I like this piece but honesty i do find the point where you broke away from the suggestive voice of the passionate lover utterly unnecessary...the lonely lover who was longing for love, the invocation of an sexual desire in the poem.

I especiall like what you did in the 6th stanza with the sound 'Round' which amazingly came out incantatory.

'Entrancing...I'm love bound'.

LiteratureAn Elergy For Goldie Harvey by OtehA(op):
Please continue this elergy in memory of the bright star which fell to earth in her prime - Goldie Harvey.

Together in her memory, let us build a thread that reaches over the boundaries of heaven.

I truely hope this inspires you somehow. Tnx.
*sighs*

...........................................
The ashes of her
flesh must have
followed the wind

Death is not far from
a child alone
at the borders of a
river

This lady
is alone now
bare-
footed in the
land of a burning bush!

Whoever sees
the face
of God and lives
Perhaps she went
too close to the waters
where spirits like silver crystal
glitter-
underwater

She charmed the serpent
which twisted itself about
the tree of life
or
she tasted
of heaven
of the apple
of Eve
which is forbidden

Like
a feet across
the
pathways of paradise,
there are goodbyes
which
are
forever!

In time
what we all need
as it is destiny
of life
is a little darkness
we all can
trust to
be ourselves

Two lovers'
hearts
wrestle on earth...

A mass of mist
gathers
her
eyes...and she sings
as she cries
she stops at
Andrew's
She wants a kiss so badly
from
the man she
married
So she sets about
to seduce him
She looks him
long in
the
eyes...

He
just ignores her
like
a passage
of an unseen wind in which
she came
She screams, she casts her unclothedness ashore
like a river
goddess
in a seductive
tease...
She draws
herself
back dreamily
in
a wave of recoiling
waters

He
just ignores
though
desire red
as a
ball
of flame
gently burn
from
the
broken heart of a lover

Goldie
Harvey has
crossed from snow
lake
with another man!
