Serious matter,
Finally, PMB now fully understands what subsidy means...
only subsidy is gulping about 20% of this year's budget, you begin to wonder where the fund for capital expenditures will come from.
If only we had supported the subsidy removal moves initiated by the previous administration. You can imagine that despite the dwindling international oil prices, its yet to reflect in the general cost of petroleum products in the country. |

People with Learning disabilities are about the most discriminated against in this country.
Schools will rather expel such student than offer them necessary assistance to enable them learn. institutions that are magnanimous enough will just lump the students together with the once without any learning disability and expect them to learn at same pace while also applying similar forms of evaluation across board.
The country and its educational system is so bereft of conscience. |

Sometimes, You don't even realise the man drinking mixtures of dry gin or better still, native cocktail at the agbo sellers joint is the driver of the Bus you've just boarded and the journey will most certainly last for not less than 2 hours on a traffic-free road.
The economic situation here is a story for another day, otherwise you would have forfeited your ticket for some other bus with a decent driver.
When the lives of over 15 passengers is trusted into the arms of a drunk driver and even the security operatives on the route are most interested in the Roger that they get instead of ensuring the safety of the passengers.
It's really a helpless situation we've found ourselves and we can only hope/pray that things get better. |

Going by her account, she was 17 when it happened.
But from the one you posted, she was 19, because she talked about Mustapha bailing out on her in her 18th birthday last year.
We were meant to believe the relationship lasted for 6months.
She doesn't sound unintelligent to me, am sure she understands the importance of Chat history, Moreover, she's written about the incident even before Gov. Audu's death on her blog and she shared a link, that's for those who's had to question why the unveiling now.
a possible cloned account could do similar job OP posted. By the way, ex-Govs are still referred to as Gov, perhaps, she must have had to mix it up somewhere.
She never hid the fact that she was genuinely in love with Mustapha and they did lots of crazy things.
I am yet to arrive at a conclusion and it will be very unfair of you OP to rush into this conclusion. |

Buhari is very predictable.
As a military head of state, how many Igbos made up his cabinet.
As a civilian president, till date, no south-easterner has been found worthy to grace his cabinet.
Even he acknowledged he can only work with the people he knows, in the south east, we see him as an uneducated bigot and he sees us as the wailing 5%.
He entered and stopped the construction of the 2nd Niger Bridge, instead, he gave us Boko haram. Funny enough, the author ignored the contributions of the likes of Okorocha and Ngige in his stereotypes.
The good news is, the South East even without having a Vice President since 1999 can not be said to be backward when compared with other geopolitical zones. |

Ihuomadinihu: To the best of my knowledge, Ulu culture is prevalent in parts of Imo and Abia state, am not conversant with the Northern regions. There was probably a time when Igbos attached strong sentiments to the Ulu or second child. In this day and age, the Ada and Okparas are have the greatest importance in Igbo culture.
However,i know men that bear ''Nwulu'' as a surname in Imo state. For now, only women are referred to as Ulu, Ulunma and Ulunwa while second male Children are called Di Okpara. Like i pointed out before, there was probably a time when Igbos had the Ulu culture and both second female and male children were called Ulu , Nwulu or Ulunwa. Am yet to see a man referred to as an Ulu in 2015.
When i look at igbo culture, sometimes i see them like a large family which developed big traditions. Each group is allowed to hold on to some cultures and others are allowed to discard same cultures adopted by the other group. That could be the reason for our diversity way before the white man arrived. The characteristics of culture coming to bare. culture is stable and culture is changing especially when it comes into contact with other cultures. I am thrilled at the commentaries posted so far. kudos. |

Ofcourse, we experience 24hrs power supply in my neighborhood.
teejaykkr: Nigeria in first 100days of Buhari administration. Good news about Buhari is now coming from NTA network Reduction of politicians faces from news line all we see now are technocrats. Stoppage of war drum from Niger delta war lords. No more dangerous statements coming from our politicians. Nigerians now look at Boko Haram as bunch of misled Nigerians who are now getting their ass kicked. Refineries are now working. Fuel importers are now begging, Electricity is now at an average of 12 to 15hrs a day. Ogoni is getting cleanup, Policing is no longer for only the rich but the poor Check points have now varnished. Corrupt government officials are now retiring themselves. While others are returning their loots voluntarily. IGR is increasing and external reserve is also rising dramatically, Now properties in Abuja are cheaper than in many other states. Government and all agencies are now having a single account TSA. Our greedy banks are no longer collecting dollars deposits. Appointment is now based on merit. Nigerian politicians show less interest to be appointed as ministers. For over a month there was no statement coming from the first lady and the wife of the president is traveling on commercial flights. All this is done without a minister, is all done by one man, one mind, one soul without the interference of others. What will happen to Nigeria after ministers are appointed? What a change! What a great leader!! Sai Baba.
