My dear, i just fed up with the whole thing. These Port harcourt region are just making things difficult. Mean while a friend of mine wrote the test in Abuja after we had written ours in Ph. I think he wrote his around april or may. He has finished training skool and is presently working with the HR in the head office.
I think it is as a result of the gross insecurity in PH. I don't expect any Bank to expand in such an insecure enviroment.

With this recent violence in PH, i 've set my mind for next year. That's the best thing.

Port harcourt city is just something else, Warri is a far better location for investors.

Up Waffi!

U guys in enugu should consider urselves lucky, we in PH wrote the test the same day i think , (march 17th) and we just had the interview about three weeks ago. We have not gone for medicals, no one has an idea of when they will start calling for medicals. This intercontinental is supposed to be a happy bank but it is the other way round.

A friend of mine had a test with IBTC about two weeks ago, had his interview yesterday, and was called today to pick up his appointment letter tommorow. U see no long thing!!!

Anyway, lets be optimistic, thank God i have something doing for now if not, person fit get HBP.

Food / Re: The Quantity Of Indomie Noodles by otipratt(m): 5:51pm On Mar 19, 2007
That's what is called average cost pricing in economics. When cost of production increases, the producer does not react by increasing the unit price of the commodity. Instead he tacitly decreases the size of the commodity leavin the price constant. Any attempt to increase price will trigger off a "price war". Remeber chikki and O are new entrants into the noodles market where indomie used to be the only player.

On the other hand, when production costs drop, the producer still doesn't reduce the unit price of the commodity. Instead he compensates by increasing the size/volume. fro example larger bars of chocolates, on juice cans u see 100% extra free or 100grms extra on milk tins like cowbell chocolate did recently.

U can't blame Indomie, with PHCN's  inefficiency, bad roads, high cost of communication,  insecurity and corruption, the cost of doing business in Nigeria ranks among the highest in the world. Any attempt to increase their unit price will see Chikki and O clinching a sizeable proportion of the market. This explains the decrease in the size of indomie

U see, economics has an answer to everything!

That serves all of them right,  nnamani and Egwu have been to Obasanjo's sidekicks.  What have they gained for their senseless loyalty all these years? These guys are just cowards- unfit to be leaders. Obj has no true friend, he can sacrifice anybody at anytime,   i pity Ahmadu Ali and Bode George. something tells me they are next,
Poor Egwu, i think he has been clean all this while. For acceding to Obj's deceitful directive that he shld contest for the presidency, he must have dipped his hands into public funds. it's a pity, I recommend Robert Greene's  "48 laws of power for them to read during their kiri kiri sojourn"
   They go learn sense!

Politics / Pdp Governors, Pack Of Cowards by otipratt(m): 7:40pm On Dec 17, 2006
NIgerian politics, wat a game,
it's a pity we have the calibre of players going their thing the way they do- without a conscience, totally unchecked!!!
how can we explain the charade that went on at eagle square, that thing they call PDP convention where umar yar'adua emerged as their flag bearer,
we saw the show of shame, the cowardice exhibited by the governors, Does it mean non of them can standand call obj's bluff? must that man have his way all the time, courage, vision, sense of direction are qualities ofa good leader, The PDP governors have shown that they are all bankrupt in all these,
What of the billions spent on their campaigns? Take peter Odili for instance, how bout all those consultation visits? billions spent on "blessing" the"stakeholders" airing them on AIT, accommodation etc like wise the other governors
someone might say it's party's decison to zone it to the north, must the party take this long to arrive at such decision knowing fully well that it's tax payer's money, PDP's evil they do not mean well for Nigeria
These governorsmay have been foooled that all efcc cases hangingon their necks will be killed. BIG LIE. have they forgotten so soon, The Egbon of Ota is a very vindictive fellow, He cannot be trusted, Even some pro-third term senators lost in their bid to pick the party's senatorial ticket. most of them are on their way to jail because obasanjo would like any rival in his quest to be the ultimate godfather in nigeria, After amassing so much wealth they will surely be threats to his infamous plan.
My Governor james Ibori is the worst culprit check this out;;

Competent party source disclosed to Sunday Tribune that the Governor of Delta State, Chief James Ibori, was the major political figure from the South-South geo political zone who majorly bankrolled the candidature of the Katsina State governor for the highest seat in the land.

"Sunday Tribune reliably learnt that, Ibori, who had, in the latter part of his second term in office fallen out of favour with the Presidency, was said to have personally impressed it upon President Olusegun Obasanjo that he would ensure that the president’s choice emerged as the party’s flagbearer in the 2007 primaries, only if to curry the favour of the President, and starve-off presidential offensive against him.

According to a source, who confided in Sunday Tribune on condition of anonymity, Governor Ibori bankrolled the presidential aspiration of the Katsina State governor, the moment signals were clear that Obasanjo and the leadership of the party had settled for the taciturn governor.

It was also gathered that, before the commencement of the national convention, Governor Ibori and his Edo State counterpart, Lucky Igbinedion, had arrived Abuja almost a week before the December 16 convention to prepare grounds for the emergence of the Katsina State governor as the party’s candidate"

As for the candidate Yar'dua himself, it was so evident that he was forced into the race, the man lacks the mien, charisma and i think the cerebral capacity to become the next president, I weep for Nigeria because Nigeria's development and need for Quality leadership has been sacrificed for selfishe political gains, We'ld miss youthfulness and cerebral capcity of donald duke, the large and focused leadership of mohammed makarfi, the passion of jery gana etc

I salut the bravery and courage of the other contestants, buba marwa, okorocha, gane, ukiwe, akhigbe, They made a strong statement by their action. They refused to be intimdated.
Okorocha really impressed me, coming second decamping to PDP under 2 wks and coming next to yara'dua even wit the likes of gusau marwa and co,
please does anyone know wat this okorocha guy does? he must be really rich, which companies does he own?
Religion / Re: How Do Our Pastors Earn So Much Money? by otipratt(m): 5:11pm On Sep 05, 2006
@ tayo D,
tayo tanx a lot 4 ur contribution. i stated it clearly that my views are tentative and i need some enlightenment, but i did some research and found out the head pastors are not allowed to be actively involved in the day to day running of any form of business,

@ everyone , tayo thinks we are out to castigate pastors but that ain't true at all, everyone has similar views on this because we are making comments based on what we see in Nigeria. tayo from ur profile u are based in USA and there preachers engage appreciable levels of modesty regarding their wealth, u don't see wat we see here in naija,
can someone tell tayo the story of Rev Kings abi na king kong grin?

Religion / How Do Our Pastors Earn So Much Money? by otipratt(m): 9:00pm On Sep 01, 2006
please can anyone explain to me how our pastors earn so much money? i learn that they are not allowed to work, run or take part in the active running of any business whatsoever, u won't believe the stupendous wealth some of these pastors possess, can someone enlighten me on this, i hear the all tithe we pay all go to the pastor of the church, was told that this was the practice in the old testament, If it's true then some of these politicians na "smallies" where some of these pastors dey o! Hammer broses
while i I'm in no way against the payment of tithes or giving to God, i want to ask, When last did you go to church and the main topic of the sermon for the day was about giving to the poor amongst us? Why is helping the less privileged in the society not among our day to day rituals as Christians? instead What we hear is all about "giving to the work of God" , "first fruits" pay ur tithes and other forms OF PROPHETIC EXTORTION and Harassment through which the monies MUST find their way into the "church"
I'm not condemning giving in church, pls don't get me wrong. but i think we shld begin to emphasize giving to the poor around us. people are really suffering o! i went to the interior parts of kwara stares (baruten LGA) sometime ago and some parts of Niger and kogi states. Even u a job seeker for now will feel blessed when u see the plight of these people, Whereas we have pastors having more than 20 cars, customized plate numbers i even hear a man of God in Nigeria never uses a pen less than 100 000k.
How many of these pastors help to find palliatives for the unemployment in their churches? how many try to help the poor in their villages? i read a scriptural verseduring my devotion this morning and it says "HE WHO GIVETH TO THE POOR LENDETH TO HIS MAKER AND THAT WHICH HE HAS GIVEN WILL CERTAINLY BE GIVEN BACK TO HIM".

start from somewhere, smile to ppl, make ppl smile, give the little u have first, nothing is too small, life is in phases and stages, if u give a hundred naira today, one day u'll be able to give 1 million, look around, one aunty, one neighbour, a man on the street, Ur neighbor's security guard , they LL most appreciate and bless u which even be more potent than the blessings some of these pastors give.
have a nice day u all,
but do these pastors really earn such sums legit,
i go open church o!!!!!!!!! (joking)
