Good day, guys. I had an accident last month caused by brake failure, which forced my 2006 Honda Civic off the road and into a swamp. I had to use a tow truck to tow the vehicle. Fortunately, water did not enter the engine, but a small amount found its way into the transmission. (Which was completely drained ) and replaced with a new oil, and everything was reassembled. The car returned to its normal performance. ( Engine and gear perfect) However, recently I tried to start it one morning and noticed that the green key (immobilizer) symbol on the dashboard was blinking continuously. I called a friend who scanned the car. He said the ECU (brain box) was communicating properly with the scanner and appeared to be working fine. However, the scan indicated fault codes related to the driver's side under-dash fuse box and the immobilizer system. Has anyone experienced something similar or knows what could be causing this issue? I would appreciate any advice on how to resolve it. Thanks |
