Mr otox
My caps says admitted last week. I accepted, so right now I don't really know were am standing. What should I do first ? alots of friends says school starts tomorrow, is that true? What is the first important thing I should do first?

Has uniport released your name in any of the batches? If not then wait till they do and then proceed on your online clearance.

Each state has its own cutoff so let's say for Chemistry, someone from Osun will get admission with a lower score than someone from Imo. The number of applicants from Imo may be 100 of which 20 may go in whereas only 2 from Osun will apply and those 2 will go in.

Everybody cannot be admitted and the selection criteria is determined by NUC.

Nepotism at it's peak,

This idiot graduates with a GPA of 4.93 and gets a scholarship to any University of his choice in the world and invariably an automatic employment into NNPC simply because he is a Northerner.

But Ayodele Daniel Dada graduated with a GPA of 5.00 from the Department of Psychology in University of Lagos and it was very uncelebrated.

This is so sad!

Welcome to Nigeria.

I paid 25k for mine and collected it last week. It was actually ready two weeks after I registered and did my biometrics but I was not in town to collect it. For me, it was a kinda stress-free process and there were well-aired halls with chairs for people to wait until they were called.

25k in Port Harcourt, please give me your agent number.

They should enjoy, when GEJ was there he did not remember south south or Rivers State or Bayelsa. 6 billion would have done a whole lot at Federal University Otuoke.

They tell us Nigeria go beta but they and their children's children are overseas.

How can they curtail extortion and sorting, overcrowded dark and hot lecture halls which they can never experience outside Nigeria.

If you are not 16 years of age by October 31 of the year of Admission then you are underage and are not registrable should in case it is spotted out at any time after you may have been admitted.

It is so unfortunate, we condemn all acts of violence on every side. The Niger Delta people are known for their warm hospitality which is synonymous with our African culture.

@Gifty
It is not nice to peddle false information, your average is actually 241 which is way below the 260 cut that brought out the 19 in the first batch. You may end up buying JAMB form from the look of things.

gifttwitty12:
16 students were admitted first on merit list, second list no law,i am Nt hearing any news too.

the list is admission list not merit list, the list is one list but coming out in batches from Jamb, what is your average and hope you applied for supplementary advert online a month ago.

Blm12:
how about freshers Sir?

What freshers should be concerned is with admission office, medical centre and faculty registrations and then accommodation in the first instance.

There was this girl that went for classes, after doing admission office and medical centre registration. To do the above you must have paid all fees, she also wrote her exam but never bothered to conclude registration at faculty and get a matric number. She will be buying Jamb form in 2018 as she was penny wise, pound foolish. Do not run faster than your shadows, take it step by step.

nullboss:
Is it true that lectures are starting on Monday?

for returning students yes

gifttwitty12:
Sir otoks any news for law aspirants??... no admitted aspirants on caps for law yet?

many have been admitted on CAPS and on uniport website.

You will soon understand the uniqueness of uniport.

Tonbratom don't rush, be patient, something is about to happen.

Please pay your fees over the counter in the designated banks within the school campus. If there is any problem the banks in school can liase with the bursary and ict units faster.

If you reject the admission on CAPS there is no guarantee of a re offer by Uniport. Movement between departments is guided by existing procedures which is summarized by CGPA of 4, possession of relevant o levels and Jamb subject entry requirements, vacancy in the department you want to move to and lastly willingness of the head of department to receive you.

Good morning.

Just imagine, the innocent child will grow up to find out that her father divorced his first wife and married her mother who killed him.

Why did he divorce the first wife when he could have married up to 4 at a time.

Please I don't respond to emails, say what you have to say here.

He must have applied for Philosophy either online or via the department, congratulations.

It is a sad truth.

Advantages and Disadvantages

Long story, are the passports going for the official price?

It is still 28k for 32 pages and 35k for 64 pages.

If it is not APC then its PDP, let us stop deceiving ourselves.

See one chance.

Brukx:

You are really disturbing, ICTC has no business in this matter, be patient everyone, its not as easy as you think, so many universities have not gone as far as Uniport has.
