In life you have to learn to stop comparing yourself with your friend, focus and find your own way, my advice for you is to pick up the basic form and also subsequently the jamb form, alternatively you can try the private universities. This is without prejudice to the initial advice we gave earlier.

No its not, the list also has some component part from departments who still had few vacancies, chances are that chemical engineering department recommended you and probably your application to electronics and computer engineering was not accepted.

It may also be there is something you are not telling us.

but it was shouted loud and clear that except you do a physical application to the available departments you can by no means enter therein; many people rejoicing here today even from faraway lagos, ibadan, scanned their documents and sent down to fellow nairalanders to apply for them but you will not, there is the last bus but the vacancies where they exist are so few, chances are very low but not all is lost.
