I don't like this at all. it's very annoying. I really want my cash back if you cannot resolve the issue

Hello Nigerians, please this is a very serious issue I want to talk about.
I recharged my mtn sim last week and saw a notification from mtn telling me about the mtn surprise plan, costing 2000NGN for 3.75GB. On the 5th, I subscribed to this plan by sending 106 to 131.(Cannot really recall if the code is correct cos I sent it from my torchlight Nokia which is no longer with me now). I was able to use it all through 5th to about 6pm on the 6th. Since then I have been unable to access the net with the sim card. However the sim miraculously browsed for 30mins (11pm to 11:30pm) on 6th, 7th of this month. I have called mtn customer and I am really tired. My money would not go like that, that is why I am putting it here hoping the appropriate authorities will respond. I have called customer care to the extent that I have been attended to twice by the same person. I have called damilola who advised I dial *131*201# and do a hard reset. I did that, nothing changed. I called Eniola, who asked me to wait while she connects me to a particular department I cannot remember, she placed me on hold for about 30mins, after which the call ended. I called another one and asked if it was a night plan, and he told me it was not a night plan. I called many of them, mostly, they claim they were transferring my details to the "technical department", all these to no avail. I don't know who and Where else to lay this complaint. I beg on the authorities here to help me broadcast this to as far as it can get. let me answer the questions mtn customer care agents always ask. just incase they need the answers to resolve the issue.

To everyone who commented earlier, I really appreciate the kind words and support. I was meant to update this thread last night but I've been very busy.
Day 1:
I stated in my first post that I was going to start with Upwork. Well, so far so good. I created an account yesterday and made sure to complete my profile 100%

As you can see, I hid those tests where my performance was 'Below Average' from displaying on my profile.
I waited about 10hrs for my account to be reviewed and approved before I was allowed to submit proposals for jobs listed on the website.
Before going to bed last night I submitted a total of 15 proposals for jobs which I believe I could handle. You can see that in the screenshot above, I've not submitted any proposals today. This is my first time using Upwork and I wasn't sure if I was doing the right thing but I kept on bidding and submitting proposals until I had submitted a total of 15. The proposals are for different jobs. Typing each proposal isn't an easy job though and that prompted me to make a proposal template. Each time I submitted a proposal, I just edited the template a bit depending on the type of job I was applying for. When you signup for Upwork you'll be given 60 free connects which you'll use to submit proposals. After you exhaust your connects for the month, you'll need to pay some amount to get more connects. You'll be give 60 more free connects after a month. Each proposal I submitted cost me 2 connects.
Day 2:
I woke up in the morning to an email from a potential client who's willing to hire me if I do well in a test job. And ofc I will do well because I made sure to apply for only jobs I can handle perfectly well

EFCC Moves To Confiscate Property Of Fugitive Tompolo

The Economic And Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) today in Lagos asked the Federal High Court for an order to seize all property, movable and immovable, belonging to wanted former Niger Delta militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo (aka Tompolo).

In a public announcement last week declaring Tompolo wanted, the EFCC said the action was in connection with conspiracy and illegal diversion of the sums of N34billion and nearly N12 billion belonging to the Nigerian Maritime Administration (NIMASA).

Also charged in the matter are nine other defendants, including a former Managing Director of the agency, Patrick Akpobolokemi.

In the exparte motion before the court, the EFCC listed several properties in Delta State reportedly belonging to Tompolo.

In a supporting affidavit filed by Adah John Adah of Festus Keyamo Chambers dated February 17, the EFCC recalled that Tompolo has since being charged to court persistently refused and failed to honour the several invitations extended to him.

He deposed that following the issuance of the warrant of arrest on January 14, Tompolo absconded and has concealed himself from the security forces in the country looking for him to execute the order.

He further told the court that a combined team of the Nigerian police and the military have been combing the creeks and the entire nation for Tompolo, but that he has continued to conceal himself.

I, Adah John Adah, Male, Christian, Nigeria citizen, litigation officer of Festus Keyamo Chambers, 1, Festus Keyamo Lane, off Adebayo Mokuolu Street, off Gbagada Expressway behind Newcastle Hotel Anthony, Village do hereby make oath and state as follows:


1. That I am a litigation officer in Festus Keyamo Chambers, whose principal is Festus Keyamo, Prosecuting Counsel to the Complainant/Applicant in this suit, by virtue of which I am conversant with the facts of this case.


2. That I have the consent and authority ofthe Complainant/Applicant to depose to this affidavit.


3. That I was informed by Festus Keyamo, Esq. and Idris Adamu, Investigating Officer attached to Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, in our office on 17th of February 2016 at about2.00pm and I verily believe him as follows:


i. That the 1st Accused person was invited by the complainant on several occasions to come and answer to the allegation of fraudulent activities leveled against him which was uncovered during investigation.


ii. That the 1st Accused person was charged before this Honourable court to answer to charges leveled against him when he persistently refused and failed to honour the several invitations extended to him.


iii. That this honourable court also made an order dated the 12th day of January, 2016 for the service of the said Charge and Summons to compel the attendance of the 1st Accused person on the 14th day of January, 2016.


iiii. That upon becoming aware of the pendency of this proceeding, the 1stAccused person instructed the law Firms of Messrs. Tayo Oyetibo & Co. and Messrs. Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa & Co. to represent him.

I hope this makes front page. I believe that some persons at the helm of affairs should be on nairaland. The CBN sells dollar at 198naira while other banks sells sell beyond 260naira. Please can we start a campaign to call CBN to force these banks to have pity on us.

I want to bring to the notice of every nairalander, that kelvinnetworks is a scam. He is a thief and cheap Criminal
On Saturday Jan 2nd, I made a post requesting for help on funding my Merrybet account via airtime. He sent me a mail about 4 hours later. I responded about 24hours later. he then asked if I still wanted to fund my account. I did not see his mail on time, but yesterday I saw it and dropped my number for him to call me. He called in 30mins. As I was skeptical about him cos I recall when someone complained about him, I told him I would be sending 600airtime for a start so he can fund ME 500. cos he claimed I'd pay 100charge. I was not very sure about his honesty but the fact that he was not banned even after someone put up a complaint about him previously gave me little assurance to go ahead.
I later sent 500 airtime requesting him to fund me with400naira and he said I should check my account in 10mins. I sent it at exactly 11:42am yesterday. Till now I am yet to be funded. I called and he claimed he was having network issues.
Pls nairaland moderators, this is enough imprimatur to ban this scam. Just imagine I wanted to fund with 10k as I normally don't fund with anything less than that. He is a cheap criminal and I know he has other monikers. He should be banned for life! I have attached the screen shots of the card I sent and the last mail he sent to me when I dropped my number and asked him to call me
