Gossiphub: Thank you. It is also interesting to know that this southern English speaking part are the ones calling themselves Ambazonia and fighting a secession war to break away from the french speaking part because they claimed they have not been treated fairly, now you begin to ask the propagandist whether it's the igbos that are responsible for their acclaimed ill treatment. Like I said i earlier, people just want to identify with their own homogeneous group and govern themselves.this is one of the main reasons Europe countries are relatively peaceful and progressive. 2 Likes |

KnowAll: So now it's the cameroonians.lwkm. Anyways let me educate you a little. Cameroon was once a unified country colonized and governed by the Germans at beginning of the last century. So after Germany lost the first world war, the allies blamed Germany for the war and decided to purnish her, one of the things they did was to seize all her colonies and declared them mandate territories. They gave Togo to France and decided shared Cameroon between France and England. So the British in their usual fashion decided to merge southern Cameroon (their own share) with the Nigeria, their near by colony. So after independence, the southern English speaking part decided to join their kits and keen,it has nothing to do with igbos abeg o. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

flokii: The problem with people like you is ignorance coupled with the fact that you have imbibed so much propaganda. As at the time in question, between 1959 to 1967, though oil was a good source of revenue, but it was a not a big earner, Agriculture was.Oil only became a big earner as from 1971 because of the Arab Israeli war, when most Arab nations refused to export oil to western nations.that is the first oil boom that Gowon and yorubas wasted. As for the gibberish about the minorities suffered in the hands of the igbos, that is total bumkum because the Wilkins report made it clear that there was no such, as compared to what the Bendelites suffered in the hands of the yorubas.the minorities simply wanted their own State just as presently people are clamoring for the creation of more states. And we will keep hammering it into you people's head that the reason why igbos are in Lagos is because they are merchants just like they are in Togo,Accra, Abidjan, etc and have nothing to do with your land being inhabited by people that speak yoruba language. 3 Likes 1 Share |

macIB: That's not the reason. It was because of politics. At the time the only radio station in the western region was the federal owned and contolled radio station in Lagos, so after the disputed election, the station refused to allow the action group to air their own side of the story,in fact it was actually the Eastern regional owned radio that was helping the action group because of Awolowo's relationship with Okpara. So because of this Awolowo decided to build a TV station instead of a radio station. So it's more of politics and ego thing, not that it was bad any way. You can read up evolution and development of TV broadcast in Nigeria for further clarification. 4 Likes 1 Share |

What about the people protesting because of hardship in Ibadan and Osun ? You know propaganda is different from reality. You support leaders you know that you can not elect if your region were to be a country of it's own, just because all of us are Nigeria and at the end of day you all are queuing at the embassy to run away. One day everybody will be alright. 4 Likes |

What you have just read here is what went down in all the MDAs through out Buhari's eight years of disaster, corruption, stealing, nepotism, job racketeering. If a relatively small and non lucrative FCC is enmeshed in this kind of shameful controversy, you can imagine what went down in places like NNPC,DPR,CBN,EFCC etc. Buhari and APC really ruined this country. 38 Likes 3 Shares |

Op leave them. Propaganda is different from reality. I recall how some years back,we use hear to that Osun economy is bigger than that of the whole south East, then recession and COVID-19 came, we know the people that nearly died from hunger, we also know the geopolitical zone that is the most indebted. Now two months into the agbado illegitimate presidency, they are already protesting in Ibadan and Osun because of hardship where as other regions are calm, and tomorrow you will see them churning out fake statistics. 4 Likes 1 Share |
