Bro I'm the same situation as the poster you quoted. Since on January 31st mine has been showing with Customs. I've been to my nearest post office, they it's not there. I've numerous nipost numbers and I get the same response. Did this clearing agent help you out getting your package? Was your package a phone?

I just sort mine out yesterday and it's been released but am being asked to pay 61k for it crazy..well drop your tracking number I will help you forward it to my contact at the airport they will help you clear it..don't worry you will get your package

I think it's high time you guys stop using USPS and engage the services of third party courier services to send your packages from the US to Nigeria.

i will be going to Nacho office at the airport tomorrow,I hope I get something out of it because am really tired waiting,since 26th of Jan till date customs has not release my package.feel so bad

No it wasn't. Which is why I suggest you go to custom's office at the airport because my device was shipped to Nigeria on the same day yours arrived at Nigerian customs so even if they have a backlog, yours should ideally have been cleared first.

I picked mine from the post office closest to the address i gave. You could check your or go to customs office at the airport.

I picked up my package today. N23,700 for 1 mobile device. if i weren't aware of the ridiculous fee from this thread i would have removed shirt for them at the office. They still asked for N500 transport fare and 'lunch money'. If i can help it, never again with NIPOST, the custom fee is ridiculous, the ripple effect is the accompanying increase in sales price.
The staff were all too happy to tell me about a man that came earlier today to pick up a package and was billed N65,000 but refused to pay such an amount for a N17,000 item and asked that it be returned to the U.S.

I had called NAHCO, EMS, NIPOST.....these people hardly know what is going on. I got a contact to a clearing agent (one of them boys), his first question when i told him my item was a mobile device was if it is an Iphone. It seems like custom guys have a hardon for Apple devices. NIPOST had claimed that NAHCO had backlog but i took the liberty to check your tracking code and it is still 'with customs'. I advice you go over there and see for yourself the reason for the delay before all trail to it vanishes.

i haven't been to the nearest post office tho since it still shows is with customs.

bro I called the NACHO the receptionist asked me if the courier service I used made use of their service to but I told them I want sure..she told me their no way they can help..am getting tired

well I got one from the Nipost website and I also went to their office at murtala airpot..I even called today again I was told I should wait that the customs might have lots of items to clear that's why it's taking this long..my package is iPhone X and this is the first time am using any of this..pls I need help.
