34-year-old San Antonio woman, Jennifer Marie Vargas, was recently arrested for allegedly ripping her 6-year-old son’s scrotum and then trying to repair it with superglue.

Vargas admitted to grabbing her young son’s junk as hard as she could causing a 4-centimeter laceration on her son’s scrotum. She then attempted to clean the wound with alcohol and then applied superglue to patch the hole until it stopped bleeding. She stuffed the boy’s underwear with paper towels and then sent him off to bed.

When her husband arrived home he noticed his son was crying upstairs. When he went upstairs to investigate the issue he noticed his son had blood soaked paper towels stuffed in his underwear.

“Why is our son crying and why does he have bloody paper-towels stuffed in his underoos?” The husband asked.

“There was accident.” Vargas responded.

“What kind of accident?” The husband asked.

“I yanked on his thing a little too hard and ripped his sack, it caused some bleeding.” Vargas responded.

“Why would you do that?”

“I was angry.”

“WTF? Why didn’t you take him to the hospital?”

“I used superglue, he is fine.”

Jennifer Marie Vargas was arrested by the FBI and charged with assault causing serious bodily injury. The boy underwent surgery to repair the damage, and is now in the custody of his father

A Tennessee husband and wife rented out their four daughters as sex performers in porn videos, authorities said.

Ronnie Lee McCall, 61, and Connie McCall, 40, face federal sex crime charges in a case a local prosecutor described as one of the “worst” cases he’d seen in 20 years, WATE reported.

The couple, strung out on so-called bath salts, forced the girls, ages 5 to 16, to perform sexual acts with paying adults who filmed them, court documents allege.

Investigators busted the McCalls after finding the girls living in disgusting conditions inside a Johnson City trailer.

Investigators said the 6-year-old had rotten teeth, flea bites, ringworm and lice.

The parents took the girls around town, dealing them to creepy customers, according to court documents.

EKITI State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has carpeted President Muhammadu Buhari’s claim that many of those who looted public treasuries in the government of former president Goodluck Jonathan had started returning the stolen funds to the government.

Fayose said the President should rather stay at home to govern the country instead of junketing around the globe and acting like a saint before the international community.

The governor challenged Buhari to tell Nigerians how much was returned and name looters who returned stolen

funds, adding, “since the purported looted funds belong to the Federal Republic of Nigeria, it ought to have been paid into the Federation Account and shared by federal, state and local governments.”

Fayose’s Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, said in a statement issued in Ado-Ekiti yesterday that the governor advised President Buhari to tackle the country’s collapsed economy headlong instead of going from one country to another, casting aspersion on Nigerians with his sing-song of fighting corruption.

He also added that the President’s attitude was yet to change from that of 1984 when he was military Head of State. “Buhari’s statement in Tehran, Iran, that it was easier for him as a military Head of State in 1984 to arrest corrupt individuals and put them in protective custody was a pointer to the fact that he has not changed from the dictator that he was then.

“The truth is that Buhari did not fight corruption in 1984. Rather, he persecuted great Nigerians, especially the likes of Chief Adekunle Ajasin, Chief Ambrose Ali, Chief Bisi Onabanjo, Alhaji Lateef Jakande and Chief Bola Ige, who served the people meritoriously.“Is Buhari justifying the imprisonment of Dr Alex Ekwueme, who was only the vice president or All Progressives Congress (APC) leader like Chief Bisi Akande, who only served as a deputy governor?”

While urging the president to stop acting like the sole- administrator of Nigeria and the only honest man among Nigerians, Governor Fayose said “Nigerians are desirous of concrete development, not rhetoric about fight against corruption that is only being used to persecute perceived political enemies of the President both in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and within the APC…

“Honestly, this President should get to work and stop lying to Nigerians and the international community.”

A report by the Nigerian Bureau of Statistics, NBS, says more than 1.4m Nigerians have been rendered unemployed since President Muhammadu Buhari assumed office about six months ago.

According to the Bureau in its third quarter report on unemployment and underemployment, it was revealed that unemployment in the country rose by more than 1.4m between June 1 to September 30.

The report said, “In Q3 2015, the labour force population, that is those within the working age population willing, able and actively looking for work, increased to 75.9 million from 74.0 million in Q2 2015, representing an increase in the labour force by 2.60%,”


“This means 1,929,800 economically active persons within 15‐64 entered the labour force i.e. were able and willing and actively looking for work between July 1 and September 30 2015.

“Within the same period, the number of unemployed in the labour force, increased by 1,454,620 (529,923 in Q2) persons between Q2 2015 and Q3 2015 resulting in an increase in the unemployment rate to 9.9% in Q3 2015 from 8.2% in Q2 2015 from 7.5% in Q1 2015.”

The report noted that this rise is the fourth consecutive rise in the unemployment rate since Q3 2014, with the number of unemployed Nigerians rising to 7.5m.

NBS further revealed that in Q3 2015, about 427,000 new online jobs were created which were unable to meet the over 1.9m new entrants into the labour market.


During the quarter under review, the rate of underemployed, those working but doing largely menial work or jobs not commensurate with their qualifications or not fully engaged and merely working for few hours, however witness a decrease by 365,593.

Underemployment rate fell to 17.4 percent in Q3 2015(13.2m) from 18.3 percent (13.5m) in Q2 2015, from 16.6 percent (12.2m) in Q1 2015. More females are unemployed in Nigeria According to the International Labour Organisation (ILO), 201 million people globally are unemployed, with Nigeria being responsible for 4 percent of that global demographic.

The highest unemployment rate in the world is recorded in Djibouti (54%), Congo(46%), Bosnia and Herzegovinian(43%), Haiti (40%) and Kosovo(35%). The lowest are found in Qatar (0.2%), Cambodia (0.3%), Belarus (0.5%), Thailand (0.8%), Benin (1.0%), Laos (1.40%) and Guinea Bissau (1.80%).

With unemployment rate of 9.9 percent in Q3 2015, Nigeria has better rating when compared with 67 countries. Nigeria is, however, worse than 113 countries, including 21 African countries that have their rates lower than 9.9 percent.

Someone once said that when it comes to lies, the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) (and its national publicity secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed) holds a first class degree, I don’t think any smart Nigerian will dispute that fact.

It is close to seven months after winning the March elections and four months since President Muhammadu Buhari was sworn into office, it is now apparent that the APC has no policy direction except for desperate attempts to appropriate President Goodluck Jonathan’s policies like the Okonjo-Iweala inspired Single Treasury Account (TSA/IPPIS), Adesina’s inspired rice revolution, and power reforms.

Here is a list of 7 things the APC insulted former Jonathan for doing and today, Buhari is doing the exact same thing, while the APC cheers him on as a ‘great’ leader. This is all hypocrisy on the part of Buhari and the APC.

1. Chad as a Partner in Fighting Terrorism

When Jonathan sought Chad’s co-operation in quell the Boko Haram insurgency, Buhari and APC described it as a shame .

Chad was the first foreign destination for Buhari’s president for the same reason Jonathan went there. Only, in his case, he went with so much fanfare.

2. Foreign Trips

Lai Mohammed and his gang criticised every trip President Jonathan ever made. They even tried to describ his trip to Brazil as abdication of responsibility.

Since his election seven months ago, Buhari’s has hardly spent 10 days, in a stretch, in Nigeria, he has embarked on fruitless trips around the world without any tangible result to show for such waste.

3. Waste

When we told Nigerians that Buhari does not need a helipad to land in Daura some shouted how much does a helipad cost? Some, APC online warlords, tried to convince people that the helipad would cost not more than N2 million.

President Jonathan used a school field for helicopter landing in Othueke, throughout his presidency. But the APC which criticised GEJ for waste of funds just paid N60 million just to settle land local owners for the proposed heliport for Buhari, which covers 4 hectares.


4. Security.

When Jonathan failed to end the Boko Haram scorge. He moved the deadline for destroying Boko Haram from a December to the the next March. APC described it as incompetence and cluelessness .

Buhari who earlier promised to finish off Boko Haram in 2 months if elected, failed at keeping to his own deadlines. What’s more he moved the deadline by 6 months to December 2015. While the Nigeria Army tried very hard to give the impression they are winning the war against Boko Haram, the Islamist terrorist group has murdered over 3,000 Nigerians since Buhari took office.

5. Character of Political Appointees and Associates

The APC criticised PDP and Jonathan for appointing or associating with people of “questionable character”.

Today, we have Buhari and the EFCC is closely hob-nobbing with the likes of former Kogi Governor Abubakar Audu and former Bayelsa Governor Timipre Sylva who have N19.2 Billion and N10 Billion fraud cases, respectively, on-going.


6. First Lady’s Office

Buhari and the APC, spent quite a bit of time on the campaign trail railing against the First Lady of Nigeria. They described the office as unconstitutional and a drain of public resources which will be scrapped once they get power.

Fast forward to June 1, 2015 and Buhari is President, and his wife, Aisha Buhari is moved into the same office that Patience Jonathan used. Not, only that, Buhari appoints a Senior Special Assistant on Administration and assigns the woman to work in Aisha Buhari’s Office.

7. Agriculture Revolution.

Even Jonathan’s worst enemies will give his administration credit for two things – the agricultural revolution and the 13 new federal Universities who will be churning out their first set of graduate in few months time.

APC which described the agricultural strides as superficial are now working behind the scenes to appropriate the achievements of President Jonathan which they earlier described as “non-existent”.

This is official. The federal government has spent “a little above N2.3 billion on maintenance of the presidential fleet between May 2015 and now.” At interbank rate, this is about $11.5 million. I repeat: 11.5 million USD was spent in about five months on maintaining the 10 aircraft on the presidential fleet; salaries and repayment of old debts inclusive.

This is what the Buhari administration calls “little”. $11.5 million is a lot of money anywhere in the world. This country is broke and we are still keeping 10 aircraft in the presidential fleet. The 10 aircraft include: 737 BBJ (1); G550 (1); G500 (1); Falcon 7X (2); HS 4000 (1); Agusta139 (2); Agusta 101(2). Why must this country continue to keep 10 aircraft in the Presidential fleet in an era of Change? Yet, Buhari is telling us that this country is broke. How many “broke” countries can afford to do this? Just imagine the number of tattered hospitals and schools we can fix with N2.3 billion in just five months? This is food for thought. Somebody should please stop the Group Managing Director of NNPC, Ibe Kachikwu from squandering the limited resources of this country. He is going in search of oil in our side of Lake Chad. Previous administrations have wasted billions of USD on this bogus search without result. Now, my dear Kachikwu has indicated that the country may well be on the verge of a significant oil find in the Lake Chad area in North-east Nigeria based on analysis of recent seismic 3D data generated from the Chad Basin.

In a presentation to the Petroleum Club, Lagos, the NNPC boss stated that NNPC was injecting a lot of energy into the effort to ensure success in this regard.  The GMD said. “There are signs from the latest 3D seismic studies that oil may well be very close to being found now in Lake Chad after very many years of trials. I think that this is very key. It is key both for the geographical balancing of oil production and it is also very key for the purpose of refinery placement in the North in terms of access to crude. I am optimistic that by the end of the year we should be able to announce something major on this.’’ Haba, Kachikwu! Why do you want to continue putting our money in this fruitless search? The former president is a year older today and no former associate placed a birthday message for him in any of the national dailies, something that they all did when he was the president. When a Twitter user pointed this out, former presidential aide Reuben Abati reacted angrily by supporting his view but my people i don't understand what he said ooo.

I am not a politician, that PMB has my support, and that I hate PDP (for their 16 years ruin), that does not necessarily make me a politician. I only cannot completely express the joy I have that the last administration could be changed. I am cautiously watching this administration with faith that they would be different (I am not expecting miracles though because the economic and security situation is cannot be overlooked). I personally believe though that even if they turn out bad, they can never be as bad as the last order.
