Electing PMB was a necessity given that he was the ONLY alternative at the time to the disaster of a leader called GEJ. Pushing GEJ and PDP out of aso rock is the best thing that ever happened to Nigeria since the death of abacha. Sink that into your head.
you stil sound like an opposition. Come on get to work, you are now in power.

Fayose is saying rubbish. His allegations have already been debunked by CBN. angry

Remita does not belong to any APC henchman. The company that owns the platform has been in existence for over 23 years.
even if Remitta is over 23 years in existence, there no APC top level stakeholders today that is less than 50yrs. So being in existence for over 23yrs does not absolve APC henchmen of vested interest in Remitta. They have been harloting from on party to the other. So APC is just a new bottle with old wine.
CrimeSiasia's Mother Kidnapped by ovugoo(op): 9:27am On Nov 17, 2015
Madam Ogere Siasia, the aged mother of Dream Team VI Coach, Samson Siasia, has been kidnapped.

Madam Siasia was kidnapped from her house in Odoni village, Saghama Local Government Area of Bayelsa State by yet-to-be-identified gunmenon Monday.

According to sources, the kidnappers stormed her residence in the early hours of the day, forced their way through the back door.

They whisked her away on a motorbike.

All efforts by her husband to stop them from taking her away proved abortive as his repeated plea of “leave my wife alone, please leave her alone” fell on deaf ears.

It was gathered that the kidnappers had laid siege to the house before striking when most residents of the town were asleep.

As at the time of filling the report, her abductors were yet to make any contact with the family.

Siasia expressed shock at the development when contacted on the phone in Gambia.

The coach pleaded with his mother’s abductors to release her. Source: http://www.soccernet.com.ng/2015/11/siasias-mother-kidnapped.html?m=1
PoliticsToday Is. Chinua Achebe's 85th Posthumus Birthday by ovugoo(op): 7:23pm On Nov 16, 2015
Chinua Achebe; born Albert Chinualumogu Achebe; 16 November 1930 – 21 March 2013) was a Nigerian novelist, poet, professor, and critic. His first novel Things Fall Apart (1958) was considered his magnum opus, and is the most widely read book in modern African literature.

Raised by his parents in the Igbo town of Ogidi in South-Eastern Nigeria, Achebe excelled at school and won a scholarship for undergraduate studies. He became fascinated with world religions and traditional African cultures, and began writing stories as a university student. After graduation, he worked for the Nigerian Broadcasting Service (NBS) and soon moved to the metropolis of Lagos. He gained worldwide attention for Things Fall Apart in the late 1950s; his later novels include No Longer at Ease (1960), Arrow of God (1964), A Man of the People (1966), and Anthills of the Savannah (1987). Achebe wrote his novels in English and defended the use of English, a "language of colonisers", in African literature. In 1975, his lecture An Image of Africa: Racism in Conrad's "Heart of Darkness" featured a famous criticism of Joseph Conrad as "a thoroughgoing racist"; it was later published in The Massachusetts Review amid some controversy.

When the region of Biafra broke away from Nigeria in 1967, Achebe became a supporter of Biafran independence and acted as ambassador for the people of the new nation. The war ravaged the populace, and as starvation and violence took its toll, he appealed to the people of Europe and the Americas for aid. When the Nigerian government retook the region in 1970, he involved himself in political parties but soon resigned due to frustration over the corruption and elitism he witnessed. He lived in the United States for several years in the 1970s, and returned to the U.S. in 1990 after a car accident left him partially disabled.

A titled Igbo chieftain himself, Achebe's novels focus on the traditions of Igbo society, the effect of Christian influences, and the clash of Western and traditional African values during and after the colonial era. His style relies heavily on the Igbo oral tradition, and combines straightforward narration with representations of folk stories, proverbs, and oratory. He also published a number of short stories, children's books, and essay collections. From 2009 until his death, he served as David and Marianna Fisher University Professor and Professor of Africana Studies at Brown University in the United States. HealthHow Regular Sex Keeps Vagina Healthy - Expert by ovugoo(op): 2:15pm On Nov 15, 2015
A Gynaecologist at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital Kano, Dr. Jibril Abdullahi, has advised women to avoid cleaning the vagina with soap and alum as such could do more harm than good.

Abdullahi gave the advice against the backdrop of general understanding among women that such cleaning was the best way to keep the female part healthy.

He told the News Agency of Nigeria on Tuesday that the vagina had a pH level that needs to be maintained between 3.5 and 4.5 in order to prevent the growth of unhealthy bacteria and maintain the growth of good bacteria.

He said washing the vagina with harsh chemical could hurt the pH (potential of hydrogen) balance around the organ and could lead to irritation, infection, as well as offensive odour.

According to Abdullahi, women can use lukewarm water to clean by wiping from front to the back instead of using harsh chemicals in the area.

He explained that “the use of simple clean water is enough to keep the vagina clean because it has natural fluid to clean itself.

“The vagina cleanses itself. Avoid the use of feminine sprays on the vagina, scented pads, tampons, as well as scented wipes to avoid burning and irritation.

“Wipe from front to back to avoid bacteria from the anus invading the vagina and wear cotton underwears.

“Women should also avoid tight underwears made from synthetic fabrics such as silk and lace, among others.”

The gynaecologist also advised women to always change wet clothes and underwears immediately after workout or swimming to guard against yeast infection.

He said: “Taking yogurt also helps to prevent yeast infection.”

Abdullahi further advised women to maintain good hygiene during menstruation by changing sanitary pads frequently and to always wash the vagina after sex to minimise the chances of infection such as bacteria, among others, from invading the organ.

The expert also advised male partners to always wash the penis before sex to minimise bacterial infection invading the vagina, especially if condom was not used.

He advised women to urinate after sexual intercourse, saying it helped to flush bacteria out of the vaginal area and also prevent the risk of developing Urinary Tract Infection.

He stressed that “the consumption of fruits such as cranberries, pineapples, strawberries, among others, helps to freshen the smell of the liquids secreted by the vagina.

“Drinking lots of water and consuming lots of garlic also helps to remove toxins from the vagina, as well as prevent yeast infection.”

Abdullahi suggested kegel exercise to help maintain healthy vagina, noting that “it helps to strengthen the vaginal pelvic muscle due to the fact that it tends to get weaker with age and childbearing.

“Also, having sex regularly helps to keep the vagina toned and elastic as it is another way of maintaining healthy vagina.”

Abdullahi then advised women to go for regular test to check Sexually Transmitted Diseases and get treated if infection was present, stressing that if left untreated, it could cause long term damage.

He also urged women to seek medical help if there was a change in the looks, discharge, smell, as well as pain in and around the vagina.

PoliticsSHOCKING!! Gabonese President, Omar Bongo Reportedly Found To Be An Igbo by ovugoo(op): 4:42am On Nov 14, 2015
Indications have emerged that the President of Gabon, Ali Bongo Ondimba is a Nigerian of the ethnic Igbo stock. It is said that he was adopted during the Biafran war by his father, Omar Bongo who handed over to him as President.

This development may soon be confirmed as a court in western France on Thursday allowed a family member of Omar Bongo to view the birth certificate of Ali Bongo following accusations that he lied about his country of origin.

The Gabonese constitution demands that one must be born Gabonese to serve as the head of state, but French investigative journalist, Pierre Pean alleged in a recent book that the President was actually a Nigerian and was adopted during the Biafran war in the late 1960s.

The court in Nantes allowed 25-year-old Onaida Maisha Bongo Ondimba, a daughter of former president Omar Bongo, to view the documents in full, which her lawyer, Eric Moutet hailed the decision as “enormous”, though “diplomatically complex”.

Ali Bongo is the only one of ex-president Omar Bongo’s 54 declared heirs not to have produced the identification documents. He claims he was born in Brazzaville in 1959, former capital of French Equatorial Africa.

The Nantes civil registration centre is responsible for all birth certificates of people born in French Equatorial Africa up to 1960, when the former colonial countries in the region gained independence to become Gabon, Congo, Chad and the Central African Republic.
