Seun is not doing anything with regards to scam on the forum. Anyone can just register and be viewing recent posts on the forum.

The scammer probably regularly checks posts concerning people who want to buy and sell and enter people's DM pretending to be the seller.

It has been going on for long time in the gadgets market and house clearance sales thread in the family section. Even another person lost 15k to him same time as me on the technology market section I think

He definitely saw my post aboutAzolla from recent posts that day.

Just what I thought earlier - not sure it's Lightning / thunder. what you connected probably didn't match it's source. Thar Car phone charger is usually 12-volts though I don't know it's exact rating.

Since we don't know exactly what was connected and how they were connected, can't really say much. Normally, Lightning would damage your charge controller.

I presume your battery system is 12v

Inverter spoil twice before. Third time two electricians said they can't fix it so I abandoned it with them.

That's why I decided to ditch AC and be using DC for charging

That time It was just about 1.5v 3.5a (4 units)) car chargers wired to the DC buck converter.

Finally bought SRNE ML4860 mppt charge controller. Bought it used 60,000 naira + 10,000 naira (transportation).
Hopefully, it matches my taste else I would sell it.

As per the load being only 20amps, I can't use a charge controller without using that load port Ooo....

How do you deal with lightning please?

In April I connected DC phone chargers to charge controller load output section. One sudden lightning strike just before windy rain started blew all the chargers.

( Charge controller DC out - DC/DC buck converter - mobile chargers)

I thought my DC-DC buck converter could stop excess current if there's surge, .. for where? Lightning flew through it and the chargers bought out smoke in my front

Do you earth the charge controller output before passing to your devices?
