Hello all.
From the place this day in Delta State called Anioma, the Igbo story, person and identity came to limelight with the penwritings of a young man called Equiano. *A childbirth of this same Western bank territory, that the Europeans ever got privilege to record their first historic entry into this long desired Igbo inland, out of the masterpiece barricades of the great Jaja, in the persons of the Lander-brothers. *Ransomed by King Boy of Brass. *Captured in Asaba -same Delta States Anioma territory that became the first ever European foothold on Igbo inland.

(Who in the writings of precolonial Igbo history is more Igbo than Equiano. An Igbo himself, lived and experienced).

However, while the endless European quench of penetrating the economic/oil-palm rich inlands and their endless encounters with Jaja, the Igbo name however, have long before Equiano's era being in the mentions of historic documents, treaties, trades and deals, all located in the Atlantic boader Islands of this day's geopolitically called Niger Delta; many starting from Calabar to Kalabari all having ineracting cultures with the Igbos, but only two having majority Igbos in them -Bonny and Opobo. Here, the older indigenous Niger Deltans say this has nothing with originality, as all their presence there are as products and not as indigenes. *Brass remains their closest neighbour, and the only ones with differing narration.

Nonetheless, similar to the Europeans migrating map, the purpose of this study is a final conclusion to the endless evaluated study, starting as well from the NIGERDELTA into Anioma, then to Owerri's Eri/Owerri's (also Agulu-Eri/Owe-Eri's) meet point of who this Igbos are.
