It's a good thing you're sharing your real-time travel experience to Burkina Faso on here. A distant relative tried to talk me into that shitty travel adventure some five months ago, but I called his bluff. He tried to entice me with the story of how he was earning a very decent pay in dollars, working for a certain company, and that all I needed to join him over there was 1.550k to cover for travel expenses and processing of work/resident permit. Since then, different foreign numbers (maybe cloned) have been flashing me frequently, and I suspect it's through him. There's no better life in Burkina Faso.

Upward review of national minimum wage will lead to further inflation (everyone with basic economic knowledge understands this). What measures is the handlers of the economy putting in place, to address the root cause of the economic woes the country is faced with?

Then thta would amount to shooting yourself in the foot.....you are here crying about high cost of living which is being caused by inflation.....further increasing the minimum wage would lead to higher liquidity in the economy thereby making prices further sky rocket......it's basic economics!!

NLC should be demanding an upward review of minimum wage, because the prices of commodities have overpowered the 70k even before it's implementation.

By the grace of God, I can't make such request, but I won't consider it weird if a family member ask for such favour. Personally I think the whole thing depends on the guy's financial muscle. Being in a position to give help should be seen as privilege.
