Why do Nigerians, who have relocated to better countries, still commit crimes?

Japa was not meant for everyone that is why we have Visa declined stamp.

But unfortunately, we have people who hustle money to bypass the hurdle of being rejected.

And they need to make this money by all means.

Also crime isn't subjected to a tribe in Nigeria like the person above portrayed.

There's no tribe that forbids selling drugs or adults seeking to date underage girls.

When I was overseas, I was charged to court for beating the traffic and I was cleared because It was because I was black and racism is real.

Criminality is ingrained into some people's culture and soul and their understanding of hard work is not a honest day's work but commiting criminality.

The irony here is a vast majority of these specific people will make excuses and even defend their fellow tribesman when arrested in Nigeria for one crime or the other by citing the Nigerian economic downturn and systematic rot in the system but these same idiots will still venture into crime in countries with better economic prospects and oppurtunities.

That is what is most confusing. Crimes committed in Nigeria. Excuse is that Buhari and Tinubu economic policies are making us to suffer. But what of those Nigerians living abroad, and committing crimes? Is it also Tinubu?

On to the topic, Nigerians love to game the system. The leaders we have are from us that's why Nigeria cannot grow.

The standard/bar they raised for themselves back home is always unreasonable. They get to europe and see that money indeed does not grow on trees. The money comes in trickles,plus bills over there are knee deep. Crime then becomes the major quench to there insatiable greed.

They have always been criminals even while in Nigeria.

Why do people in those countries commit crimes? There are criminals in every country. It is not about nationality.

Op, the same reason that makes already rich Nigerians like Bola Tinubu to continue to steal and loot Nigeria's treasury using political stooges and fronts.


There is something fundamentally wrong with the Nigerian people.

Why should a Governor or Minister or government official with a secured future still go about stealing public funds?


Sometimes I feel so ashamed being called a Nigerian with all the criminals parading themselves as President, Governors, Senators, Ministers, etc in Nigeria, it hurts
